[/quote] You have an extreme hatred for something quite harmless. My inference is that something in your past led to this hate. Am I correct? It can, in certain cases, kill people. But it's not like "Woah! Weed kills millions and millions of people each year!" You really are only at risk of death if you so stupid things like, as mentioned previously, drive. That all depends on the logical thinking of a person. Weed doesn't impair your decision making or make you black out/not know what you're doing like alcohol does. You are completely consciously aware of any and all situations around you. I have never been high one day and forgot what happened when I woke up the next, nor has any of the people I know do it/have done it with.

John A. Zoidberg
Believe me, a vast majority of my 1000 student high school uses the drug. The only ones that would make bad decisions are the ones that make bad decisions sober as well. Plus, I can safely tell you at least my decision making has never been impaired while using the drug. Alcohol, on the other hand, is different. If you don't weigh a lot, two-three shots could make you confess your life-long love to someone without two thoughts. Legend Zero
Even if I do find you to be truthful, which I do, I'm going to trust educated studies over your experiences. Maybe if we could actually have unbiased studies done we could tell what is real and what is not. Then again, it does make you wonder, seeing who pays for these studies. John A. Zoidberg
I'm not saying just my experiences, I'm also saying the experiences of the 200 people I know for a fact do it, and the likely few hundred more that I don't know. Of course I can't MAKE you believe me. It's really all about your personal view of trust- it's me or the government. Either way, I think what I think, and I, of course, leave you free to think what you do, too.

Tentacruel
Yeah, it actually does f*** with your brain in ways I'm far too lazy to look up and describe. It puts chemicals in your body that your brain would normally produce but it doesn't if you smoke pot. Or something. I don't pay very good attention in class. Point is, it shouldn't be demonized like it is. It's a double standard that smoking pot makes you a criminal but drinking beer makes you completely normal. John A. Zoidberg
Dude. Half of the anti-drug programs in schools are complete bs. Basically, many studies regarding marijuana are very flawed because of lacking a real constant in experimentation. For example, say they tested two monkeys. For it to be a true test, both monkeys would have to have the same exact body conditions, parents, lack of disease, etc. Essentially, they'd have to be perfectly healthy twins. However, for most tests, it would be as though they used entirely different monkeys (I don't know as to whether or not they actually use monkeys, it's merely analogy). Schools don't choose the most correct or viable ones, they choose the ones that enforce their teachings more. It probably sounds like I'm one of those 'overly corrupted conspiracy theorists," (which honestly, there is a lot of corruption in schools and governments), but if there was a study that said "WEED WILL KILL YOU WITHIN FOUR DAYS OF SMOKING" but the studies were really flawed, they would still pick it sooner than any completely viable test that said it's not that bad. I'm not saying treat is like it's no big deal, but it also shouldn't be treated as a major killer that severely threatens one's life upon use. Tentacruel
It's not a physical problem that is actually causes in your brain, it just counter-acts endorphins or something like that. It wouldn't be a major issue with someone who is actually healthy though. Lol look at this I found on Youtube. Classic. The stupid ones are more obvious. You may not even find out if a smart one does it. Put it this way: who would it be easier to find out whether they use the drug? The dumb teen that does it every weekend and walks around town yelling "YO I GOT THE MUNCHIES!" Or the smart secluded one who does it for his own reasons, that doesn't care about the hype of people finding out they use?
