Resident Fascist
So one day a few years ago(about late/mid 2009/2010), I was browsing the internet and my Computer Caught a virus from just general browsing(I used IE at that time.) and the Virus(es) LITERALLY controlled my computer. It hacked into all my accounts(Including my email, youtube, gaming accounts and such) and started to download stuff I didn't even want and signed up to stuff I didn't want either. Eventually, my computer just White-Screened and we had to factory reset it. After that, it's been ok. But the stupid sleze bag that put the virus on there obviously looked at my browser history and downloaded s*** based on that to try and make it look like me. It even uploaded videos on to my Youtube that I didn't even record Discuss these stupid abominations that should be wiped from the planet for good. John A. Zoidberg
I've had two really interesting viruses: 1. I forgot what it was called, but it posed as antivirus, and stuff and things. 2. If I closed down an internet browser, it would continuously open the page that I closed literally thousands of times. ·Toot
Another interesting virus is the Kamikaze Virus... doesn't infect cpu's... but websites... You can enter with it as an admin and do all kinds of whacked up shizz to it
Ярополк Пономарёв
Best way to stop viruses for free: Avast. McAfee is the worst solution, and Norton does nothing if it's not activated.

Makο
Never had a Virus before. Glad I haven't. Those things sound nuts. I have to be more careful, however. There are a few Drive-By Java viruses that have been infecting some Macs.

Βyakuya
I looked at the Newest Posts and thought this: Had some experience with viruses. Our only option was to reboot, erase everything from our computer, and reinstall....

Greiga
Well I made simple viruses in textedit once. One of them tried to delete system32 (school computer btw), one forced a shutdown after x amount of seconds, and one would infinitly spawn the same window to the point where the computer crashes and you have to hold the power button to reset. CrystalCyae
My old old computer had a virus (I think) once. I couldn't log into my computer account, and I was screwed. We did lots of s*** on it, but nothign worked. So we threw it out. It was old though. BTW, the computer I type this on now is basically a HOUSE VIRUS. It is s***, and takes up valuble space in my house. Similar to downloading Youtube videos I nerver watched at taking up download limit. DAMMIT NETSPACE. Resident Fascist
I'm not sure what the virus signed up to using my email, but I highly doubt they're legit websites. I've tried to delete the email adress, even phoning the company and they're like "lulwut are you talking about lol" I blame microsoft for being so damn stupid. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Don't get the mentality of people who make computer viruses to do all this stuff. Well I understand that people do it for criminal gain, which I get, but some do it for the challenge of 'beating the system' or just the pleasure of screwing people about? So for the second bunch: GET A FUC'KING LIFE!!!
Cin
I had a worm/trojan that took out my internet a few years back (well Yahoo messenger still worked) and switched Norton off (never gone back to Norton since), had to install AVG to get rid of it. Not had a problem since. It was my fault...Keygens...
