Replays [Number 39: Aspiring Emperor Hope]

Recommended Posts

Ever had a point where replays occur and people didn't know how they worked?
Anyways, discuss the Replay Mechanic, and one of the more recent common occurrences (Number 39: Utopia)

Yes, I built a spirit-monarch, though its far less consistent than Darkplants so I didn't bother posting it (mine uses yamato and such)
P.S. in case I'm forced to add stats/effect
Rank 4, Light, Warrior, 2500/2000, 2 level 4 monsters, detach 1 to negate an attach, when selected as an attack target without materials it goes boom.

Replays occur if monsters on the defending player's field change, either more added or some removed, during the Battle Step (Attack Declaration up to Damage Step).

Because Utopia's effect activates at Attack Declaration, it will self-destruct at that time, triggering a replay. While I rarely tell my opponent this when they kill my Utopia, most do know.

you mean about 67% of DN?
30% are marginally good at the game, or at least know how their netdecks work,
and 3% don't even try and actually have fun with random who-knows-what.
More or less, really.
It just depends if the Opponent is paying attention.

Yamata Dragon is unneeded in Spirits, they're pure anti-synergy.

I would be running Hino-Kago-Tsuchi, but I wanted to have deck that was not copy-pasta of yours.
-2 hino
+1 yamato dragon
-1 yaksha
-1 dark dust
-1 ho-oh
-1 upstart
+1 heavy storm
-1 treachorous
+4 plant synchro engine (spore, glow-up, dandylion, lonefire)
Terrible, I know.
