Toffee.
Pika, more or less, Inzektors are like Dragunities. They follow a similar pattern of Summoning cards that abuse the existence of another monster in the Graveyard. Ieyasu Tokugawa
If you don't know the game, you don't deserve to mod the section, but that's yet to change. Inzektors rely on Dragonfly and Hornet. One of which likes to be in the grave, the other does not. Summoner Monk ->Arma Knightis used as a way to get said Dragonfly and Hornet more quickly, leading to quicker slaughter. Other cards can be used to aid in this process as well. Inzektors also have other cards they can use, such as Dimensional Fissure, but the deck is still mostly low level monsters that are never gonna really run over anything, save rare occasions. They are not 100% out of water without Damsel, but she helps a LOT. And if they have beaters out, it's too late for D-Fissure to help as much. He lost because of an out of the blue Iron Chain Dragon, which you yourself called bad. So, by your logic, he lost because of a bad tech. Thus, Inzektors are bad. The deck isn't bad, and from what I've heard the player isn't that bad either. Since both of those options are out, there's the option of bad hand (Given what happened), DN's "magical stacking", and other such issues. Just because a deck does not perform perfectly 100% of the time does not mean it's bad. And, to end it, yfw Inzektors are Tier 1
Inzectors need Hornet in hand or on field. Hornet not there? Can't do sh*t.

Same thing with Dragunities, once people realized that Stopping Dux -> Phalanx killed the deck, the deck stopped winning. Also take into consideration that we wont be getting Lavalal chain for while(we just got HA05, which was DT09 and DT10, Lavalal comes in DT13), I don't see how Insecktorz will be teir 1 upon release. -Lightray Daedalus-
Pika for the record DN's Shuffle Engine is pathetic...I have had 5 monsters hands in Decks running 15 or less monsters too much times to tell...and lost several game to that (Since you know that low monster count monster run those numbers due to searchabilty which gets kinda useless when you got all your targets in hand...) ANYWAY...stacking is becoming a Very common play nowadays...so I kinda can see how this thing can come out surprising some peoples asses.... evilfusion
Wow, tempers much, people? 1) OP mentioned something about an interesting combo. There is no combo involving Iron Chain, as Iron Chain itself is not a combo. Iron Chain MESSED UP the actual combo. 2) Considering how Inzektors work, milling Dragonfly while a Hornet is in the Graveyard should not have screwed over the entire deck, as ANY Inzektor drawn after that would have been able to work towards regaining the deck's footing. However, it did indirectly lead towards defeat, as Dragonfly being drawn next turn was probably going to WIN, and it getting milled had the duel result in a loss instead. That doesn't mean the deck or duelist is bad. That doesn't mean the deck is so reliant on one card that it auto-loses if something happens. It was just a move that messed up the intended plays and resulted in an outcome reversal. 3) What's with the severe condescension in this topic? Holy hell... 4) I'm a Your Deck mod. I just spend a lot of time in TCG, and did so before being promoted, but almost all modding is left entirely up to Pika.
Agro
I have 1 response to this topic: IT'S ABOUT F*CKING TIME. I ran and still do run this in Dragons along with Brio and Orient. 2500 ATK is great and the mill is better than in was the past 2 formats. Plus I tend to hit spells/traps with it more than anything. Also Level 6 + Level 4 Tuner = Trident Dragion.
Jesse S Hall
actually speaking of inzektors, question: if an Inzektor (such as Damsel) equips Hornet, could you then activate something that removes said inzektor, and have hornet sent to the graveyard without having the opportunity to activate its effect? or is there no timing window to do so? I've already asked evilfusion and although he said no, at some point my constant questioning made the decision a bit unclear, so if anyone knows more on the subject, yeah. OT: the Your Deck mod should be someone who plays competitively IRL. the closest we had was sephiroth, who was a cool dude, but he doesn't give a s***.
After considering it further, the answer's still no. Even though there is a timing window to activate a card after an Inzektor's Equip effect was allowed to resolve, Turn Player still has priority to activate an effect when a chain has finished resolving, so they can still activate Hornet's effect before you as the opponent can react to "A monster has been successfully equipped with a card" This is not the same idea behind the (retained) TCG Priority ruling where you can activate an Ignition Effect when a monster has been Summoned without first waiting for your opponent to respond to the Summon. The closest ruling you could compare it against is Dragunity Legionnaire, if it was successfully equipped with a card, whether it has priority to activate its destruction effect, or using the effect of Dragunity Phalanx (although in the latter, it doesn't send anything as a cost, which leaves a lot of counter options that muddle the issue). It's just my only 2 cards were Monk and a Spell. So I made the play, hoping to draw Dragonfly next turn. But I didn't because it was milled. So instead I drew MST and lost. :S
