I wish there was some way to find out how Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are developed.
What the process of creating them and their effects is.
Balancing the cards for the game and the metagame.
Deciding which cards get made and which don't.

I've wondered similarly, especially when it comes to cards in the anime.

So yeah, all three of these confirmed for release in GAOV, along with Anna's trains, Shark's Hammer Shark and Down Current, and Yuma's Puripriest, Minimum Guts, Overlay Buster, Recklessness, and a few others.

Quite why Konami has decided they want to release cards from that appauling run of filler garbage I don't know, but I suspect - just suspect by looking at the V Promo pack releases and these so far - a few of Charlie's cards might also make an appearance in some form, such as Majestic Jester and Dice Slot Seven. If any of Hosaki's Tomato cards get released then I will fetch shotguns.

This is what baffles me: How come a lot of Yuma's one time appearance cards that are really situational/weak (lets use Recklessness and Minimum Guts for example) get released, but not his staple cards that he uses a lot, such as Half Unbreak and Bye Bye Damage? That seems weird to me.

Heavy Machinery Drill Jumbo
EARTH/Machine/4/1800/100/Effect:
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can increase the Level of all face-up Machine-Type monsters you control by 1. This card inflicts piercing Battle Damage when it attacks a Defense Position monster. If this card attacks, change it to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.

Current translation for the drill.

Interested in seeing how the others turn out.

So....
If you went into Shapesnatch/Gatekeeper/[generic level 5 DARK Machine-Type thats a Tomato target] from last turn-
You Summon this, it becomes 5 and that other Machine becomes 6 -> Swap this with Birdman -> Synchro for Locomotion.

Deck seems hilarious, but only on paper though :/
