I'm expecting BLS to go back to 0, but then again I'm not entirely sure if they'll do it.

 

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Future Fusion's gonna get the banhammer, and hopefully we'll get Royal Oppression back, too.

 

Future Fusion just opens up too many strategies and it's become broken, and with the Dragon Deck coming out soon, it only gets worse.

 

I'd love to see Stratos or RotA put to 2, though. It'd give HEROes a nice boost.

BLS is going, FuFu is staying (Even the new Dragon cards didn't make the deck consistent, and no builds who run FuFu as the main card are topping. Don't use the excuse that if a deck is based around FuFu, it should be banned because of it.).

This. Future Fusion is really abusable, but not broken enough to be banned.

Now, why I think this:

 

Banned:

 

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning: I don't think I need to explain this one.

Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier: Too easily fuels OTKs and has been deserving the spot for a while now.

Dandylion: I don't think I need to explain this one.

Rescue Rabbit: I don't think I need to explain this one.

Tour Guide of the Underworld: Same thing.

Heavy Storm: A real crap-step in logic, Konami decided that Spell and Trap Cards should be made easier bait. So they banned Trunade, which is obviously better, and put in the most broken card in existence. Now, let's all refer to our primate being as we bash our foreheads on our computer keyboards (or laptops, if you are me).

 

Limited:

 

Giant Trunade: See Heavy Storm.

 

Semi-Limited:

 

Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow: Would actually make Blackwings playable again. They need the increased attack/defense force.

Debris Dragon: Putting it @2 just to see how it goes. I'm sure it can't be that bad. After all, it's @2 on YGO Online.

 

Unlimited:

 

Bottomless Trap Hole: In my opinion, it should see more play. It wouldn't hurt the game structure for it to be @3, simply because it is a card that isn't really run anymore due to Solemn Warning.

 

So, overall, some small changes, and all of the urgent bans got their attention.

I think Heavy will stay lest they bring back Trunade [which was only really used when you wanted to deliver the deathblow].

 

I also think Future Fusion is gonna get the Banstick. It's just too broken; it only gets worse when Light Pulsar makes it way to the TCG in February.

BLS may need to go but it's not too much of an issue so I doubt it. Knowing Konami they may drop Chaos Sorcerer to 2 though. I can see and Kristya and Hyperion at 2. Though maybe Kristya @ 1 isn't the worst idea. Trishula & Brionac will probably go to 0, effectively killing the whole Ice Barrier archetype.

 

Those are the major ones to me.

 

Epic lulz to come if Mystic Shine or Venus take a hit.

Forbidden:

• BLS - Should be self explanatory. They really failed on trying to create a more diverse format with this, thought there's no point in bothering to argue about it. Just put it to 0 and be done with it.

• Brionac - Should also be self explanatory. With CotH at 2, this thing becomes even more goddamn annoying since you can recycle your Call. Also has far too much versatility for what it is and should not have been kept at limited.

[*• Future Fusion - Mega Foolish Burial on steroids that has a ton of loops when done right. Don't feel like going into it, but this might be a little bit more balanced if Brionac is to go. Konami may also ban this for future thinking about the new Chaos Dragons and such.

OR

*• FGD - No Dragon Target = No Abuse with Chaos Dragons. Preemptive thinking again on Konami's part if they do this.]

 

Limited:

• Rescue Rabbit - Doesn't really need an explanation, but hitting the rabbit will help reduce the chances of drawing into it at least. Might possibly be banned, but eh.

• Agent of Mystery, Earth - Lowers the consistency of Agents since they can't grab Venus as quickly and other stuff like that. Limit this so that they only have 1 searcher instead of 3.

• Archlord Kristya - Doesn't need an explanation also, seeing as how this nearly completely stops all of your opponent's plays by making it so that they can't get over the wall of things which you have now managed to amount to.

• Grapha, Dragon God of Dark World - If Konami leave this at 3 they're f**king retarded.

 

Semi-Limited:

Not sure about this yet.

 

Unlimited:

• Magical Stone Excavation - Not good any more, so why not just put it back to 3 for the lulz?

Wait, why put them both on the list?

FGD is only abusable because Future Fusion.

With Future@0, FGD no longer becomes a Painful Choice.

 

And its not like you can use Prisma either, as the materials aren't specific.
