Stopped watching at a 1:30 due to the sheer stupidity. US cannot legally take another person from another country, because (guess what, its a secret) AMERICA doesn't own the internet. And extreme lol at having the US troops storm the UK for 1 person.

People have been extridited before you know. The leader of Wikileaks for example was forced to go back to America to face Trial, then returned to Sweden to face trial there too :P

Wasn't that because what they did was illegal in both places? You follow the laws of your country first.

True. The Anti-Piracy laws in the UK are a lot more downtuned compared to the US so maybe mike was Exaggerating a bit with the whole Army to track you down thing. If this SOPA thing does pass though, the Internet will quickly become locked down with every part of your daily Web Browsing watched. At the moment the Goverment is mostly keeping a eye out for Pedophiles and things like that but what happenes when someone even viewing a Normal Porn site is a criminal offense? Scary times ahead me thinks.

Do you honestly think they have the man/computer power to monitor every person/website? Especially when they have to come up with a way to do this without breaking privacy, because then they'll never have a case.

You don't know about BT do you? My Service Provider has tabs on some of the things I do. Even told me that I was commiting Piracy at one time (So I started using a Proxy). They also have a Alarm trigger that the moment someone searches for a danger thing (Such as Child Porn) BT are notified and the Police are sent to the Address. The only problem I have these days are Bandwidth usage, I eat through around 2TB a month downloading Movies, Games and other things.

Even if you delete your Cookies and cover your tracks, They still can find out. Luckily I would never EVER dream of looking at Child Porn. People that do should be killed.

Because I'm in Canada, this is my response:

Problem is, is that this bill gives international power over the internet, especially since most websites are hosted in the US, and other countries may sign on at UN.

So this SOPA is close to making its decision about the copyright ban...since we all get the idea these are guys are dumbf**ks, if they do pass it, my reaction will be somewhat like:

And another question, would this violate one or more of our freedoms in the 1rst amendment?

Honestly, I can see the government hiring a bunch of random people who sit in an office all day and look around at websites and when they find a site opposing the government or placing it in a bad light, they would be instructed to upload some random videos onto the site. Then the government can block the domain so no one can use the site.
