When the rogue Maltusian scientist, Krona, was banished by his brethren and trapped in energy form, he somehow reached Nekron's realm. This resulted in a paradox that Nekron used to his benefit. The paradox was caused by an immortal being like Krona occupying a realm meant for the dead, which resulted in Krona’s immortal energies leaving a tear in the time and space between the mortal universe and Nekron's realm. The tear allowed Nekron to see into this universe of the living, but was not big enough for a being as powerful as Nekron to pass through. Chronos: Since he has to sacrifice human life for power I'd imagine all Greek/Norse/Roman/Hebrew Mythology Gods sacrifice human life to gain a small fraction of their abilities back.

So I say for competition we should have a God who to my knowledge doesn't have any followers and provide sacrifice for it, but it's power isn't overwhelming.

Also Chronos never lost his powers or need sacrifice to gain back his power as much as he need sacrifice to trigger or control his power. Cool. As for the topic, I really like the idea that the elder gods are weaker after losing their worshipers/believers. Although, Chronos seems like he just lost control his ability to stay in one timezone/control his time traveling power instead of really getting weaker. So it would be an unstable fight between Chronos and Quetzalcoatl since Chronos may not stay in the timezone for too long.

He could stop time in front of the human and unfreeze the human to see his powers while Quetzalcoatl do the things you said to gain back followers. No matter how strong a being is(excluding any omnipotent being), if their up against a being that control time/reality, they would surely lose. IMO that is. At first though, I would say Quetzalcoatl since he has a lot of power feats but Chronos can control time/time travel thus clearly makes him the winner.

That's actually cool though not surprising. Still cool. I wonder if Quetzalcoatl can regenerate the help of snake if it's injured. Like if it's hand was chopped of, a group of snake controlled by Quetzalcoatl came and regenerated into a new arm for Quetzalcoatl. Also, I've read somewhere that Quetzalcoatl also has fangs like weapon that can come out from it's arm that act like a small sword or dagger and it has all the snake venom in the world. Now that's cool.
