Shard of Greed

Recommended Posts

well, I was considering using it in Malefics, since the logic is as follows:
if you have MST, you'll either go for Necrovalley or Skill Drain.
if you have this out, you must MST it or I make a +1 (so its a +1 that the opponent can prevent)
you feel stupid if you let your opponent +1, so you MST it
no MST = Skill Drain/Necrovalley stays = I make +s

Therefore, I + off it regardless if the opponent destroys it, unless they use Heavy Storm. IF THEY HAVE HEAVY STORM, I can simply play it to bait it out, because they need to get rid of it. then I can set my hand freely afterwards. though they could wait to use that heavy storm, the fact that the card will lead me to +s if untouched forces it to be played.

Though lately I've found myself to be quite stupid, if anyone has counter logic to this, by all means express it

But Toy Magician does the baiting better because you can plus off it and use it for Rank 4s, plus it has the element of surprise.

Only applies to RL; on DN, it's impossible to Set monsters in the S/T zone without placing them in the Monster Zone first (similar issue arises with Magical Hats on DN, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms, @__@)

... which sucks, 'cause now I wanna try using Toy Magician on DN... TT__TT

Basically my thought process, tbh.

I watched someone on DN use it in Village. Good Monk fodder if you like your other stuff, limited, Spells.

Why you use a Spell as a proxy for Toy Magician.

...which would mean you'd have to tell your opponent "I run Rain of Mercy as a proxy for Toy Magician, kk?"
Also, DN needs a Convulsion of Nature function...
