Once per turn: You can banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to target 1 Set card your opponent controls; reveal that target, and return it to either the top or bottom of the Deck. Add to it, Diabolos' effect was to re-arrange the Opponent's deck. So they mashed those 2 together, made it a Lightray, and called it a day. OT: Dark Creator Summoning conditions but for Light? And then with an intresting effect to put any set card on top of the deck.... Will its effect resolve if the targeted card is no longer set? [/quote] well if you activate this card's effect and target 1 set s/t, if that card is chainable somehow, it can go off before it get return to the deck. if it's like mirror force or a decoy spell then it's off to the deck it goes. [/quote] No. If the card is no longer Set at resolution, it is no longer a correct target and will resolve with no effect. The same as Dark World Lightning. Not to mention the first thing it tells you to do at resolution is "reveal the target", and you cannot "reveal" a card that's already faceup/shown.
