If Konami does create the banlist like halfway through the format and wont hit cards the come out later, then when Samurai were at large, why was Gateway put from 3 to 1 when there was only 2 weeks to play with Samurai for that format? Master Hyperion Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 Because the OCG also has a meta, which had Six Samurai 4 months longer than the TCG.And Gateway was a card from the older set, so they might as well hit that, since they weren't making any profit out of it in the TCG (or was out of print) from the older set Gateway came in. Now if a very large group of people, or anyone that competes in tournaments, aka, those who buy a lot, stop. They'll be forced to do something. Of course a list tailored for the ocg isn't going to fix the TCG meta. And very large amount of TCG players (at least american players, not sure on other regions) do tend to over react. Seriously I can't count how many "I quit" or "time to play some other Card Game" 's I've heard. And I can guarantee at least 90% of all these people that are complaining will still be here in 6 months to complain once again. No one ever actually tries think ahead to how they may play/change their deck for the new format, they just auto-whine and don't even think about the positivesShriek is going back and forth, just like YCM. .-.
