[img]http://i.imgur.com/BCPWd.jpg[/img] [img]http://images.wikia.com/yugioh/images/1/13/MontageDragonTDGS-EN-UR-1E.png[/img] [spoiler=For anyone else wondering what happened up to that point] [i][b](Opponent was testing a new Deck)[/b][/i] Opponent sent 1 Lightpulsar and to REDMD to summon Montage and Set 1 card. Next turn I Soul Released all three of them, then set Absorb Jar and 1 other card. On opponent's turn, [b]I Veiler his Montage[/b], he sets a second card in S/T Zone. On my turn I Flip Summon Absorb Jar, destroying our set cards (thus making me draw 1, and my opponent 2). I then activate RotA and add Jain to my hand (I actually went and added Light Gearfried first before remembering that it wasn't a correct target). Then I Normal Summoned Ehren and went into the Battle Phase. Opponent thought that was pointless until I told him that Montage's ATK was now Zero. He thought it was only for one turn and that Montage would get his ATK back. I then showed him the link to the Rulings.[/spoiler] ... anyways, Discuss. I'm thinking yes, but I just need some clarification. [/quote] Trag's ATK gain is a continuous effect, so once it's effect is no longer negated, it can increase its ATK again. Montage, on the other hand, is more of an instant effect that happens the moment it's summoned, and remains that way until its effect is negated, or if it's flipped face-down or leaves the field temporarily (like with Interdimensional Matter Transporter, etc.). Not to mention, I don't like the TC either way because of his obsession with wolves that he keeps on emphasizing even though no one even slightly cares. I'm actually somewhat hurt that he feels this way about me when he knows very little about me, but then again, he's entitled to his own opinion just like everyone else here, and that is something I'll have to respect. OT: ... well, I've nothing else to say about the card that hasn't already been said, aside from [b]inb4Fables[/b], just so they don't get mentioned. [/quote] Actually, at least [i]I[/i] always think carefully before making any reference to a character who I'm using as an avi because I've seen Anger Level, and I know that being too obsessed about something makes you look stupid, at least most of the time. For instance, I don't think I've ever made references to IV outside my avi and member title after changing my avi to him. TBH, its mostly the huge hand disadvantage caused by this card that makes it not worth it. There are plenty of other OTK's you can pull off easier than this.
