·Toot
The deck is really funny once you get the hang of it... They really can get kinda cheap lol I have yet to see anyone use seal anymore... but eh...
CDDRodrigo
The best version doesn't use Level 8 vanillas, though. It uses Wattdragon and Curse of Dragon, generally.
Toffee.
Archetype is in the same boat as Fableds, in which you can tech stuff just because it requires you to do [action X], but doesn't necessarily mean its "Good" for the deck. Blake
Archetype is in the same boat as Fableds, in which you can tech stuff just because it requires you to do [action X], but doesn't necessarily mean its "Good" for the deck.
Unless it has some payback and can abuse Kushano, it's really not a good idea, though you know that. OT: But Seal is terrible ._. As Mu/Rodrigo said, best variant runs Wattdragon/Curse of Dragon @1 each, or as I've heard, 2 Wattdragon. Sadly, like Fableds, they just don't have quite enough support. CDDRodrigo
Wouldn't you say Fableds are a better deck overall, though? Although Holy Mark is a very new archetype and hopefully it'll have further support.

I like the deck concept, I just feel they're lacking something to make them consistent. They seem too sackish at times. lol, semi-ninja-ed by LZ. Giga Hand
Wait, so the rank 8 build is inferior? FWIW I've been running it on DN with great success, it's very consistent and pretty much sold me on being able to summon 2 rank 8s in one turn for little cost (random holy mark + dragorado + lv 8 vanilla in grave + another random holy mark in hand). Even if Thunder End Dragon is situational at best, it makes a good beatstick. [s]Although, even with no firsthand experience, a lower rank build sounds viable I guess.[/s] Scratch that, I just looked at a list of all rank 5s and wanna make the deck. Seems to deserve its reputation. Also the deck makes super rejuvenation totally broke.

byak
If you open a summonable Holy Marked + 2 Shu, you can summon 2 Gaia Dragoon, Turret Train, and an excess Dragon from your Graveyard this is why the Level 8 variant sucks and why Curse of Dragon is obsolete. Giga Hand
If you open a summonable Holy Marked + 2 Shu, you can summon 2 Gaia Dragoon, Turret Train, and an excess Dragon from your Graveyard this is why the Level 8 variant sucks and why Curse of Dragon is obsolete.
Let's see if I've got this right... You summon the first monster, then tribute it for shu (grab a vanilla), then tribute the other shu (grab a vanilla), you have 3 level 6s... use the vanillas to summon Atumus, use it to summon REDMD... Use REDMD to summon the detached card, use the level 6s to summon another Atumus, summon another REDMD, summon a dragon from grave, overlay to get the field you explained. 2600 + 2600 + 3000 + 2000 + 2200 = I dont even need to do the math, that's freaking overkill, and threatening s/ts were likely eliminated by shu. Still, there's more than "competitive" and "sucks". There's also "pretty good", "okayish" and so on. The rank 8 version doesn't suck just because there's a different, better way to play the cards. I hate otks anyway. EDIT: Honestly, between Atumus and Lightpulsar, I can foresee REDMD getting hit.
