thekazu4u
You can substitute this card for any 1 Fusion-Material Monster. When a monster is Xyz Summoned: You can discard this card from your hand; Banish Fusion Material Monsters in your Graveyard that are listed on a Fusion Monster to Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster, negate the Xyz Summon and return the summoned monster to the Extra Deck.
For use against any deck that plays Xyzs, except you need Fusions of your own. Note that this card DOES count as a fusion-material-monster for its own effect while in grave. Somebody is going to ask why make it level 5 and my only answer is BECAUSE. I guess it sorta balances it a tad, but nothing monumental. Dragons currently use the most Fusion monsters, so dragon type seems to be a good choice. Dragons need more DARK Imo for LPD etc... so this is just one more option. ragnarok1945
another EI picture, typical all right let's take a look at the effect this is only situational because it deals with xyzs now yes, you can say those monsters are popular and I won't deny that, but the fact remains you don't know when your opponent will do such a thing. Therefore, until it actually happens, it's just a 1950 atk card sitting useless on the field and all that crap
Sander
now yes, you can say those monsters are popular and I won't deny that, but the fact remains you don't know when your opponent will do such a thing. Therefore, until it actually happens, it's just a 1950 atk card sitting useless on the field and all that crap
Because you have to Summon it to use the Fusion Summon effect. Actually, you don't, since the card clearly says that you need to DISCARD it. And no, the card isn't useless, since if you'd actually play YGO, you'd know how rampant Xyz monsters are in this current meta (Inzektor / Wind-Up). Now obviously, this is best only used in a deck that Fusion Summons monsters, ie most HERO decks, but that would give them a good boost since it's another way to get a monster like Absolute Zero / The Shining out and stop your opponents Xyz Summon. thekazu4u
My only regret with this card is it does not stop the wind-up loop. That is what I originally intended it to do until... phuck happened.
DARKPLANT RISING
I say change the last eff a bit. Like: When a monster is Xyz Summoned: You can discard this card from your hand; Negate the Xyz Summon and return the summoned monster to the Extra Deck. Then, you can Banish Fusion Material Monsters in your Graveyard that are listed on a Fusion Monster to Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. That's more versatile. Sleepy
This is the first Fusion Material substitute I've ever seen that doesn't require you to have the other materials be the correct ones. I'm not actually sure how you'd abuse that, but just wanted to point it out. Looks pretty fun. Negate Zenmaines > Summon Absolute Zero > do Mask Change for Acid just to troll a bit. Dead in hand? Get Escuridao [s]Polymerization is the way to go[/s]
