[/quote] But the idea in the anime was that the Earthbound Gods' effects were negated if the Field Spell wasn't around and that they were destroyed during the End Phase. Konami powered them down to being destroyed right away, but it would ruin the flavor if it didn't "negate" its effect as well. On-Topic: I'd much prefer using other Immortals and just going for Black Rose if I wanted to nuke the board. Heck, I'd even run Ccapac Apu because it has 3000 ATK and Flame Wingman's effect.
