Discuss the worst divine trio, because at least the Sacred Beasts special summon themselves. The top TCGers thing means most skilled, not best people. I have right now Chris, Armz, and Darkplant so far but I obvs cannot contain it to a "Big 3" right now since the even more amazing people are gone and so many below them were all but equal. Greiga Posted April 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2012 I'm saying I'd rather -2 for an OTK or monster bomber than -2 just to summon a card that relies on my opponent and will end up having me minus even more later on. You should be running Dreadroot if anything if you wanna run Wicked Gods, since he cannot be run over unless you stop his effect or half his attack, and even if you do one of those things he still is probably the biggest thing on the field unless someone summons The Wicked Avatar later on. I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Big Poppa Pump is in the thread. Wicked Gods? Avatar is the best Wicked God. It stops S/Ts for 2 turns and it's always the strongest monster. Oddly enough, monsters with higher DEF than ATK, especially Des Kangaroo and Thousand Needles laugh at it. Darkplant is a really cool dude and by no means bad, but just not necessarily one of the best. Armz is hilarious and creative and generally awesome, but... to put him as one of the best players on YCM? *breaks out laughing* Wicked gods are pretty cool but eh... 3 tributes... evilfusion Posted April 6, 2012 Report Share Posted April 6, 2012 I've always liked Dreadroot the most of the 3. They all have their perks, but they've got too many downsides and weaknesses, too. Firstly, they cannot be Special Summoned by anything. They also require 3 Tributes to Normal Summon them. That's not the worst thing ever, but I'd immediately shift my eyes towards the Egyptian Gods, as Slifer and Obelisk can be Special Summoned (although they leave the Field during the End Phase) and their Normal Summons can't be negated, with the same Summon Conditions. Eraser, I've never liked. It has 1000 ATK for every card your opponent controls, and while that's cool, it's too dependant on your opponent to warrant using. I'd want to use my effort to Summon monsters that will remove those threats. Although Eraser can self-destruct, and when it's destroyed, it's a Field nuke. Still, a variable beatstick requiring 3 monsters that can nuke the Field at a whim...it's not quite worth it. Avatar is cool. It cannot be beaten in battle and it locks opposing S/Ts for 2 turns after it's been successfully Summoned. However, its ATK relies on other monsters out, so unless you control another big monster, it'll only do about 100 damage, including direct attacks. This makes it seem wasteful of those 2 turns and monsters Tributed. Dreadroot is my favorite as its ATK is actually set at 4000, making it immediately a threat. And in addition, it halves the ATK of everything else. Granted, it affects you too, but that means only monsters with 8000 or more ATK can overcome this in battle, and The Wicked Avatar should be immune, since it constantly recalculates its ATK and Dreadroot just halves. Still, the Egyptian Gods are superior options for 3 Tribute Normal Summon beatsticks. While Ra is terrible, Slifer and Obelisk are quite respectable in stats and effects.
