DO WANT! With all the Spell/Trap destruction these days, this thing isn't half bad. Why is it called "Viper" though?

Well, er, this basically.

Nice safe comeback time to go straight into a Rank 4 as well.

Best of the non-archtype monsters from REDU?

OT: Seriously, we needed something like this that actually works. There truly is hope for Konami yet.

... not much hope, but still.

As for the art, the rifle's either going to be turned into a laser rifle, a Nerf-esque gun, or a combination of the two.

Hm? Has DN been updated in that sense? I haven't really noticed. It's possible that the programming was applied specifically to Toy Magician and similar. I had once noted that from a programming standpoint, card behavior is probably inherited from a base (Trap, Spell, Monster), which is why all cards of that type only allow certain options, such as Traps can't be activated directly from the hand, and Monsters can't be Set in the S/T zone from the hand.

I'll be running it once it's on DN.

A +1 RotA target that makes the opponent think twice about using Heavy (If RotA'd) or punishes Heavy/Blind MST if I draw into it in a deck where I already run 3 Reckless and will cause mind games in R2/3 is funny as hell
