She tends to keep to herself, but loves to talk to others. At the same time, she hates it when too many people are around, and avoids awkward situations like the plague. But then sometimes she hates to be around people and just wants to be alone. If she does meet someone she truly likes, she obsess over them until something happens to change her view of them. She also can be kinda sadistic, just proving that the quiet ones are the ones to be afraid of. Of course, this is a mild aspect of her, and either happens at the BEST times, or the worst times, never in between. She also has an extremely low self-esteem, and feels the need to try and prove herself to people she feels important on a daily basis. [b]Background:[/b] Kaze was born to a middle class family, had no friends, and didn't even trust herself. Well, maybe that's a bit overboard. She had a few friends, but they only had one thing in common, Duel Monsters. She was a huge fan of Monarch's and Frogs, but always had a fondness for the card “Jam Breeding Machine”. One day, as she was messing around with her Main Deck, she noticed a blank card laying on the ground. Once she picked it up, the card's image began to shine and shimmer, eventually warping itself into a picture of what seemed to be an ancient emperor. Looking at the name, she was correct, and she obtained her first Number Monster. Her feelings about her self-worth tripled, and she felt an even greater need to prove that she wasn't worthless. Over time, she dueled more and more, coming across nothing until she found another person with a Number. This one seemed... Odd. After dueling him, beating his number, winning the duel, and seeing him return to normal she began to feel like she might be able to be worth something. She decided to start hunting Numbers, not for her own gain, but to help anyone who might be possessed by one. Over time, she grew more confident in her dueling, but less in herself. She never seemed able to keep a friend more then a couple weeks, and she blamed herself not realizing just how much she traveled. Eventually, she heard about the World Dueling Carnival, and became determined to watch over the tournament and help anyone possessed by a Number Monster. She entered the tournament and took up residence in a nearby hotel, hoping to keep an eye out for any trouble that might happen.
