[Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon] Writes Grapha a Strongly Worded Letter

Dear Grapha,

As your doctor, I thought I should write you a letter concerning your performance at this weekend’s two Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series. After reading your article, I had high hopes for you, to see what you and your armies could do. You seemed so sure of yourself and your medical condition was excellent, and the Deck Destruction Virus that I’d developed for you crippled your Opponent’s decks!

There’s just one problem: Only one of your minions crawled their slimy way into the Top 32. Sure, he made a valiant effort to scrap his dirty way to the top 8, but then… you ran into my most skilled dragon rider, Peter Gross. Did you really think that you and your Graveyard-lurking soldiers could possinbly stand up to the power of Chaos?! Fool! I banished all of your resources, Mystical Space Typhoon’d all of your weapons! You cannot defeat me!

All that talk, Grapha. and yet my rider tore you to shreds. You did not even win a game. Understand now Grapha, I am the overlord of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World. Not you. Even the strongest deck of this format crumbles before my awesome power! They tried their hardest, but even Dino Rabbit needed Dragons to power their decks this format!

Dragons. What was your name again? Dragon Lord? Pft, you cannot even call yourself a dragon. You’re slime Grapha. You need your gates to be open to even TRY to combat my might.

Go back to Dark World, Grapha. Or your next diagnosis will be banishment from the dueling world, forever.

Sincerely,

Dr. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon M.D.

Meh, they say it was just pure luck that helped dragons win this weekend. But I think dragons have the potential to beat dino rabits and every other Tier 1 deck. Who knows, REDMD may be the new symbol of this meta, much like Rescue Rabbit or Dragonfly.

I doubt it. Dragons aren't bad, but they don't really come close to the big three.

REDMD is one of the best cards in disaster.

It's funny cause this one time, I was Dueling this one guy running Dragons, and he was pretty damn confident I wouldn't be able to get past redmd with Gadgets.

XX-Saber Gottoms proved him wrong.

OT: Why should this go to less than 3? It's not broken imo. People who want it banned are probably the same idiots who think Final Countdown should get hit.

It's funny because this post is full of stupidity.

Countdown and Exodia need to be banned because they're absolutely God awful design that is bad for the game. Every time you argue against it, you end up on your face because you got your ass beat down by actual logic, because anyone with half a brain can see the damage they cause to the game. ATM, namely, restrictive card design that will eventually get one or both to top tier.

Hieratics are on the rise and REDRUM is with them. Low Tier 1, iirc. So, unlike Countdown, this is viable in the current Metagame, so why SHOULDN'T it be hit? It and Atums both should be, and this should go to 0 because it's horrific design, same with Rekindling now.

The problem with this card is that it's design itself is the opposite of any kind of skill or reward system, if it could speak it would say "if you're bad, you can now summon big dragon monsters of any level easier than before. If you're good, you can do so too, but being good doesn't make much difference with me".

Why are you all "dueling" in this topic?

OT: Card needs to be hit, and I agree with Black on this matter. It's an incredibly luck-sacky card and can initiate some game-changing combos in just a few moves.

Vanity's Call still stands. Done

YALL SOLEMN PLAYERS, CHAININ' IN A JINZO DUEL

~Signed, Jinzo the Pimp

Jinzo negates Vanity's Call. Jinzo wins.

OT: I like how REDMD makes it easy to summon that one Rank 10 monster with the ridiculously long name Superdreadnought Cannon Express Gustaph Max

You know, all of you guys fail hard to Koko. Koko used Vanity's Call and people after that are chaining with Speed Spell 2 or lower cards. Then again, Armz did use Jinzo. However, he needed Psychic Shockwave to summon him, which Koko then used Vanity's Call over everyone. Though, I hope no one uses Counter Counter.

Besides, I don't like REDMD as a card. Ever since I first saw it, I developed animosity towards it, like I had a feeling that it would create more n00bs who say "derp, 60-card dragons are best.dek" as well as create a bunch of Dragon fanboyism. Now, I wouldn't mind it (heck, dragons are awesome) but the fans go way too far to the extent in where they lose sanity. Needless to say, I am against REDMD.
