Dark Hole in the Main?

It's a pretty amazing card. I guess I can understand some decks not maining it but this should AT LEAST be sided :/

It's perfectly reasonable to remove it, but I've always liked keeping it Mained in such an explosive format.

I remember all those "Dark Hole to 2" comments by one of those two guys back then. Now closer to reality.
I always prefered Torrential over this, as I am a control-type player, and prefer to stop my opponent's plays instead of preparing a big hit.
I use this and 1 Torrential in my deck, as I was unable to get another Torrential and I got the Dark Hole in a good trade.

I still see it played on DN, but then again that's DN.

Anywho, I still main it because it's too often when you have this and your opponent has 2+ minsters on the field that are normally going to be a nuisance.

Just look at the OCG decks topping lately.

And if you think about it, it makes sense. Its more or less a more powerful Smashing Ground, which is better off sided in some decks (the ones that have better means of destroying monsters).

Examples:
- Heroes
- Samurai
- Inzektors (obviously)
- Dark Worlds
- ????

The OCG is well known for doing stupid things. I'd rather see the trend being followed in the TCG.

I also disagree with the theory strongly, and I don't think you'd ever not use Dark Hole in a game where you'd draw it unless your opponent opened terribly.

Glad someone said it, I've noticed players tend to overestimate some of the odd deckbuilding choices that pop up in OCG lists from time to time.

Dark Hole has been a staple for over a decade, I don't see that changing ever unless we get some ungodly superior version of it.

Card is too good not to run, even if you already have a plethora of monster removal options.

Only decks that not maining this ever makes sense in is Dark Worlds and Inzektors.

Otherwise idk why you wouldn't run this, and even then it should really be sided at worst.

Little to no decks have excuses to not run this, and even the ones that do have could easily main it and don't regret it.
