TheUnforgiven
Are mill decks still viable in todays duel scene? Discuss, and provide examples of why or why not
Blake
... Empty Jar is the most consistent FTK, so that should tell you.Though that's more just deck destruction in general. At that, I don't understand the appeal of running mill except to win without feeling any sort of accomplishment or have any fun in getting there. Agro
Empty Jar topped one of the last YCS's. /end of argument They shouldn't exist, however, since they are bad for the game because they reduce player interaction completely.
TheUnforgiven
About what i was thinking...... Low effort, and no fun...... But very effective none the less. Empty Jars have killed me many a time, and its quite annoying espicially when running an exodia deck.....
Toffee.
Maindeck 3 Needle Worms and Morphing Jar #2 against Lightsworns Realize that's bad Still beat Opponent ?????? Proofit
~/Coolio Prime\~
Milling could've been viable and fun if Yugioh didn't descend into Graveyard abuse where only a mill deck that finished in ~2 turns could see use.
Note that exactly what I said about Mill decks can be said about Exodia decks. Also, if you're so annoyed by mill decks, then just play Dark Worlds. wiithepeople
Really? No one mentions Sephylon?
Agro
Really? No one mentions Sephylon?
No one mentioned it because it's not relevant what-so-ever. Mill Decks run less than 10 monsters and the Opponent won't be waiting with Sephylon in the wings on the off chance that (s)he plays against a mill deck. -Berserker-
I play Necroface and Voltic Bicorn in my Macro deck. If they are out along with Macro, they cause some mill that is runs against what opponents wants of mill.
