You can send 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card you control to the Graveyard to target 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-Type monster in your Graveyard: Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. The effect of "Beetron" can only be used once per turn.
It's an Ultra Rare.

Seems somewhat amusing, to say the least. Not exactly convinced that Inzektors would want this, though.

It could pass as that ridiculously awful tech that looks bad but in fact fools the better players into thinking its good or whatever that syndrome is.

Guess what, there's a very important thing in this game and it's called effing consistency.

This effing consistency forced us to throw out Gold Sarc and Heart of Clear Water from Inzektors. Sadly, Beetron was included in them too.

He's quite a fun guy, perhaps, but he's got no use in normal Inzektors. And the only casual Inzektor build possible is Hornetless, which pretty much does the same thing as normal Inzektors, except a format ahead (I hope).

So, while everyone is screaming "INZEKTORS OMG INZEKTORS", I'll go for something else.

Underworld Arachnid.

Underground Arachnid?
How does that fit into Inzektors?
It doesn't. That was the point. You use Beetron WITH Underground Arachnid.

Card is good in Inzectors, if they didn't loop. It theoreticly supports them well.
Could be fun in Some wierd equip-sects variant...
Actually, it can be used on fields, continuouses...
oh my.
Seems fun.

TwT
I'm sorry.
I guess I'm not good with Inzektors.

Perhaps I can shed some kinder light on this situation.

Beetron requires you to send a faceup Spell or Trap to the Graveyard as its cost. In Inzektor, what faceup Spells or Traps are used the most?

-Inzektor equips
-Fiendish Chain
-Call of the Haunted

While certainly if Call or Chain is run, it could be fodder for Beetron, but you're just as likely to have destroyed the monster bonded with those cards, thus removing them from the Field.

With Inzektor equips, you don't usually just equip them for the hell of it. Most of the time, you equip Hornet or Gigamantis and then pave the way for combos and mass plusses by using Hornet's effect to destroy cards. You will almost never want to give up Hornet for a non-destructive purpose.

Beetron is not an Inzektor. It does not have Inzektor support, therefore you will more than likely have to use your turn's Normal Summon in order to play it, and Beetron cannot equip an Inzektor from your hand or Graveyard, or have Gigamantis equip to it, nor can it be equipped with Zektkalibur.

That means, in order for Beetron's effect to be live, you need to go out of your way to Summon a monster without any archetype synergy alongside a monster who DOES have the archetype synergy, and then you have to abandon the usual goal of the Deck (Hornet destroying opponent's cards or comboing with your own) in order to Summon an Inzektor from the Graveyard and loop properly.

You're creating an extra step for yourself, you see, to accomplish something many other cards could handle better. Furthermore, the lack of support for Beetron means it's more than likely going to be dead weight while you focus on the Deck's REAL priority.

Beetron's best use IS Underground Arachnid. You bring Arachnid out, steal an opponent's monster. Next turn, play Beetron, use Beetron to send the equip on Arachnid to SS that Infernity Beetle or whatever, have Arachnid steal a monster, Synch for a Level 6 that could very well be another Arachnid, destroy people more.

The reason you think about Inzektors is because it's the main Insect Archetype played these days. This card looks like it could support the Deck, but you'd have to jump through hoops to gain a profit, and the effort involved reduces the consistency of the Deck.

Inzektors are the ONLY Insect archetype ever played in the competitive scene. Inzektors can also be casual.

Considering only Spiders came before and Butterspy's after, and there are no other Insect archtypes, not hard to pull off.

Spiders don't mention eachother, or have any "Spider"-Specific cards, so them being an archetype is iffy.
Butterspys are Warriors.

Moths are dissapointed.
Moths are more of a concept, rather then an archetype, but yea, they count.
