The first put the question to a false assumption about how hell is avoided in its original context and the second was a clarification to that end to set the record straight. I imagine Hell, if it was real or I believed in any of that shenanigans, to be some desolate plain infested with mosquitoes and exotic animals. Kinda like Africa.
