Witch of the Black Forest (legal again – even if it’s just for sealed pack)
Cyber Jar (ditto!)
Jinzo
Injection Fairy Lily
Dark Dust Spirit (re-usable mass destruction)
Skull Archfiend of Lightning (high ATK with protection from targeting effects)
Dark Magician of Chaos (VERY dangerous with the smaller spell/trap card pool typical in sealed pack play)
Blowback Dragon
Mobius the Frost Monarch
Fox Fire
Ancient Gear Golem
Treeborn Frog (re-usable defense or Tribute fodder)
Super Conductor Tyranno (with 3300 Attack Points, one of the biggest monsters in the set)
Gorz the Emissary of Darkness (widely considered during initial playtesting to be the single most dangerous and frightening card to face in sealed pack play)
Raiza the Storm Monarch
White Night Dragon
Deep Diver (get any monster you want from your Deck)
Caius the Shadow Monarch
Krebons (Krebons cannot be attacked, as long as your Life Points hold out – a great defense, or just a monster to keep around until you can Tribute or Xyz Summon)
Tragoedia
Obelisk the Tormentor (no comment required)
Machina Fortress
Tour Guide From the Underworld

Gem-Knight Pearl
Raigeki
Swords of Revealing Light
Pot of Greed
Harpie’s Feather Duster
Graceful Charity
Change of Heart
Heavy Storm (yep, they’re BOTH in here, but even then, the odds of you seeing Heavy Storm or Feather Duster in a sealed event are far from assured)
Snatch Steal
Premature Burial
Soul Exchange
Scapegoat (defense! defense!)
United We Stand (did somebody say Scapegoat…?)
Creature Swap
Burden of the Mighty
Pot of Duality
Solemn Judgment (is it worth the price when there are so few key cards in sealed pack strategy? you decide)
Mirror Force
Call of the Haunted
Ring of Destruction
Torrential Tribute
Metal Reflect Slime
Skill Drain (this card can really turn a sealed pack game upside-down)
Divine Wrath
Dark Bribe

Card slot 2 card pool:
Greenkappa
Penguin Soldier (one of the most dangerous cards on this list – especially if it survives long enough to bounce itself, too)
Mysterious Guard (this is a good example of a card that is self-sufficient by itself, but if you DO pull off a combo with it, it’s twice as good. you’re rewarded for good gameplay and (for 30-card variants) good deck construction  — look for similar cards elsewhere in Battle Pack: Epic Dawn)
Exiled Force
Old Vindictive Magician
Breaker the Magical Warrior
Grave Squirmer
Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter (Ryko is the only Lightsworn card in the set, and works just fine as an individual card)
Snowman Eater
Fissure (remember that Fissure does not target and can, for example, destroy Obelisk)
Tribute to the Doomed
Axe of Despair
Mystical Space Typhoon
Horn of the Unicorn (this card’s effect can be a blessing or a curse – remember to just keep it in your hand if you’re in dire need of drawing fresh cards from your deck)
Offerings to the Doomed
Bait Doll (it was hired to amuse the Duelists… but it ended up changing their lives!)
Book of Moon (useful for attack, useful for defense, useful to re-use your own Flip Effects)
Autonomous Action Unit
Ante (in a deck with lots of high-Level monsters, Ante lets you discard an opponent’s card and do 1000 damage in the bargain)
Big Bang Shot (while there are no indestructible monsters like Spirit Reaper in this set, piercing damage can still help get through a heavy defense strategy, or through cards like Gyroid)
Fiend’s Sanctuary
Different Dimension Gate
Enemy Controller
Monster Gate
Shield Crush
Fighting Spirit (extra ATK and an extra life for your monster)
Forbidden Chalice (good on your opponent’s monsters or your own – or just to swing a battle 400 points either way)
Darkworld Shackles (see: Nightmare Wheel)
Forbidden Lance (see: Forbidden Chalice)
Infected Mail (take a close look at this card if you get it in your packs… some Duelists won’t know how to deal with this card in sealed play)
Ego Boost
Kunai with Chain (remember that you can use either or both of its effects)
Dust Tornado
Windstorm of Etaqua (stop the opponent’s attackers AND flip his monsters to their weaker battle positions)
Magic Drain
Magic Cylinder
Shadow Spell
Blast with Chain
Needle Ceiling (save this for if your opponent comes in with a big push)
Reckless Greed
Nightmare Wheel (see: Darkworld Shackles)
Spell Shield Type-8
Interdimensional Matter Transporter
Compulsory Evacuation Device
Prideful Roar
Half or Nothing
Skill Successor (this Trap that gives you an attack boost on 2 separate occasions is very useful in sealed pack play)
Pixie Ring (take a close look at this card – it opens up a world of possibilities)
Changing Destiny
Fiendish Chain
Inverse Universe (a literal game-changer)
Miracle’s Wake
Power Frame
Damage Gate
Liberty at Last!

Card slot 3 card pool:
Luster Dragon – 1900 ATK
Archfiend Soldier – 1900 ATK
Mad Dog of Darkness – 1900 ATK
Charcoal Inpachi – 2100 DEF (excellent set-up for a Tribute Summon the next turn, especially early game or in a top-decking war)
Insect Knight – 1900 ATK
Gene-Warped Warwolf – 2000 ATK
Buster Blader – 2600 ATK (Buster Blader is a high-ATK monster you can Tribute Summon, so he’s a solid card just by himself. Add in his ATK pump if your opponent is playing Dragons, and he’s superb. If you’re playing with Skilled White Magician, consider it a bonus)
Goblin Attack Force – 2300 ATK
Bazoo the Soul-Eater – 1600 ATK (but increases to 2500)
Zombyra the Dark – 2100 ATK
Slate Warrior – 1900 ATK (but increases to 2400 and lowers the ATK/DEF of a monster that destroys it)
Dark Ruler Ha Des - 2450 ATK (and negates the effects of monsters it destroys)
Freed the Matchless General – 2300 ATK (immune to Spells that target; if you have other warriors, it’s a bonus)
Airknight Parshath - 1900 ATK (with piercing, and draw a card)
Asura Priest – 1700 ATK
Exarion Universe – 1800 ATK, 1900 DEF
Vampire Lord – 2000 ATK
Toon Gemini Elf – 1900 ATK (makes the opponent discard when it damages them – and no, you don’t need Toon World to play it)
King Tiger Wanghu 1700 ATK (auto-destroys anything with 1400 or less ATK that gets Summoned)
Guardian Sphinx – 1700 ATK, 2400 DEF (re-usable effect to bounce all your opponent’s monsters – getting past its 2400 DEF is no small task, and its ATK isn’t shabby, either)
Skilled White Magician – 1700 ATK, 1900 DEF (awesome combo with Buster Blader, but works fine as a beatdown monster)
Zaborg the Thunder Monarch – 2400 ATK (all the other Monarchs are in card slot 1, but we slotted Zaborg in here; if your Starfoil is a Monarch, you can pull 3 Monarchs from a single pack)
D.D. Assailant - 1700 ATK
Theban Nightmare 1500 ATK (this is our first exception, since its ATK soars to 3000 while you have nothing in your hand nor your Spell & Trap Card Zone)
The Tricky – 2000 ATK
Raging Flame Sprite – 100 ATK (and here’s our trickster, who gets +1000 ATK every time he succeeds in a direct attack… small at first, but can quickly overwhelm the entire Duel)
Chiron the Mage – 1800 ATK (Chiron’s Spell/Trap-destroying ability could have easily put him in card slot 2)
Cyber Dragon - 2100 ATK
Cybernetic Magician – 2400 ATK (can boost your monsters up to 2000 ATK, or lower the opponent’s big monsters down to 2000)
Goblin Elite Attack Force – 2200 ATK
Doomcaliber Knight – 1900 ATK
Chainsaw Insect – 2400 ATK
Card Trooper – 400 ATK (but boosts to 1900)
Voltic Kong – 1800 ATK
Botanical Lion – 1600 ATK, 2000 DEF (but boosts itself to 1900 ATK at a minimum, more if you have other plants)
Ancient Gear Knight – 1800 ATK
Blizzard Dragon – 1800 ATK
Beast King Barbaros – 3000 ATK (but can be Summoned without Tribute at 1900 ATK)
The Calculator – <Calculator’s ATK equivalent to 300 per Level Star on field – face-up monsters only… calculating….>
Gaap the Divine Soldier – 2200 ATK (also locks all monsters into face-up Attack Position while he’s on the field, and you can increase his ATK by 300 for each Fiend you reveal from your hand each turn… that’s a big gap)
Arcana Force XIV – Temperance – 2400 ATK (in addition to its high ATK, you can discard Temperance to prevent damage to you from 1 battle)
Dark Valkyria – 1800 ATK (but raises to 2100)
Alector, Sovereign of Birds – 2400 ATK (Alector’s Special Summoning criteria probably won’t come up, but you can Tribute Summon this monster like normal)
Twin-Barrel Dragon – 1700 ATK
Abyssal Kingshark – 1700 ATK
Jurrac Protops – 1700 ATK (+100 for each monster your opponent controls)
Hedge Guard - 2100 DEF (and you can discard it to prevent a monster from being destroyed by battle)
Fabled Ashenveil - 1600 ATK (but increases to 2200)
Backup Warrior – 2100 ATK (requires exactly 2 Defense Position monsters to Special Summon him, but they CAN be face-down…)
Ambitious Gofer – 2400 ATK
Power Giant – 2200 ATK
Card Guard – 1600 ATK (but starts off at 1900)
Yaksha – 1900 ATK (this Spirit Monster also bounces a Spell/Trap each time it’s Summoned)
Gogogo Golem – 1800 ATK
Big Jaws – 1800 ATK
Wind-Up Soldier – 1800 ATK (but boosts self to 2200 and can be Level 4 or 5 as needed – useful for Xyz Summoning)
Wind-Up Dog – 1200 (but boosts self to 1800 and can be Level 3 or 5 as needed)
Milla the Temporal Magician – 1800 ATK
Ape Fighter – 1900 ATK (+300 more each time it destroys a monster)
Wind-Up Warrior – 1200 ATK, 1800 DEF (but boosts to 1800 ATK and can be Level 4 or 5 as needed)

Card slot 4 card pool:
Giant Soldier of Stone
Mask of Darkness
Morphing Jar
Muka Muka (a great first-turn play – 2100 ATK)
Blast Sphere (woe unto Obelisk who attacks this monster…)
Big Shield Gardna (2600 DEF!)
Gilasaurus (Special Summon, then Tribute – or use as Xyz Material)
Possessed Dark Soul
Twin-Headed Behemoth
Makyura the Destructor
Helping Robo for Combat (such a helpful monster… at 1600 ATK, it narrowly missed the cut-off point for slot 3)
Zolga (at 1700 ATK, Zolga qualified for slot 3…. but its effect is very tempting, and might consign it to Tribute status)
Chaos Necromancer (gets stronger the longer the Duel lasts, and sealed pack Duels can be some real knock-down, drag-out fights)
Stealth Bird (Stealth Bird was deliberately placed in the set as a “RED ALERT” card. With its re-usable 1000-damage-per-turn effect, and its reasonably high 1700 DEF, destroying this monster should become your top priority the moment you see it revealed.)
Hyper Hammerhead (among its other uses, this monster will bounce anything that destroys it back to the hand)
Grave Protector
Night Assailant
Pitch-Black Warwolf
Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive
Gyroid (great Tribute fodder, this card can be frustrating for the opponent to deal with…)
Drillroid (…the perfect gift for the Duelist staring down Gyroid)
Gravitic Orb (this card can really screw up an opponent’s Battle Phase… you can get it with Tour Guide, too!)
Cloudian – Poison Cloud (destroys whatever destroyed it, and does 800 damage too)
Des Mosquito
Mad Reloader
Phantom of Chaos (get a second use out of your monsters in the Graveyard!)
Cyber Valley
Blue Thunder T-45 (a fleet of 1500 ATK Thunder Option Fighters can be strong in sealed pack play, especially in combination with something like Burden of the Mighty)
Vortex Trooper
DUCKER Mobile Cannon
Worm Barses
Shield Warrior
Dark Resonator
Noisy Gnat (good for matching Levels for an easy Xyz Summon)
Fabled Raven (you can use Raven to match levels for an Xyz Summon, or just pump its ATK to huge numbers)
Fortress Warrior (another monster with limited battle immunity – great for setting up your next turn)
Twin-Sword Marauder
Level Warrior
Level Eater (yet another Level-altering monster to help you Xyz Summon)
Naturia Strawberry (this prancing strawberry has a potent 1600 ATK, and just gets bigger the turn your opponent summons)
Battle Fader (the ultimate defense)
Amazoness Sage
Amazoness Trainee
Hardened Armed Dragon (the ultimate combo with Obelisk)
Blackwing – Zephyros the Elite (summon Zephyros back from the Graveyard for a Tribute, as Xyz Material, or just as a 1600 ATK monster)
Tanngrisnir of the Nordic Beasts (Nordic Beast Tokens CAN be Tributed, so this is another good “set up for next turn” card)
Shine Knight (1900 DEF, and adjustable to be Level 3 or 4)
Gagaga Magician (the definitive Level-matching Xyz Material monster)
Goblindbergh
Psi-Blocker (does your opponent have that 1 nagging card that you just don’t have the assets to counteract? not to worry….)

Am I the only one who sold/traded a bunch of stuff and made a big profit?
I will once I sell my Zenmaines. :\

Note to everyone: They take 1 card from each section to make the pack as well as one card from all of them. The sections are Rare, Card Removal, Beaters, and Effect-focused monsters. There are the exact same amount of cards available in every single section. In other words, saying something like:
I love how lance is Common
This means nothing, because you have the exact same chance of getting it as you do of getting a TGU or any other card from any of the sections.

Moving on...

I'm happy the following cards are getting reprints due to wanting extra copies so I don't need to switch them between IRL decks, need them, or like them:

my friend is gonna feel like an idiot when i tell him Chalice is getting reprinted after he spent £60 on a playset, (but not before telling him to sell them before the price goes down)
I was totally going to go buy 2 tomorrow too. Good thing I didn't end up going today.
