Was just thinking about how... Strange it feels that we know 26 Numbers + Destiny Leo. So, here's a topic on them since I'm sure a Numbers list will come up.

 

So discuss the archetype and the whole "this no make sense" thing in addition to their impact and favorites and whatever, since it's a jumble of monsters only related by a name... And Atlanthal +

Taken 60 episodes to get 24 Numbers, plus 3 in the manga.

 

Gonna be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn......

 

 

 

 

How many Numbers make the average Extra Deck though? Volca, Hope and Black Corn are near-staples in anything with half a chance to summon them, but doesn't ever seem to be many more than that which people include on a regular basis.

#17 and & 20 (and possibly #30) are staples in Inzektors or anything else that can churn out Rank 3s.

Plus #11 works well in anything that can get out LV7s quickly, like Karakuris.

6 is OTK only, pretty much

7 is lulz only

8 is archetype-specific

9 pretty much automatically goes in things that can realistically summon Rank 9s(Chances are, rank 9 variety will be lacking even when Xyz are done).

10 is... Gah, only 1 deck can sorta use it.

11 pretty much automatically goes in things that can realistically summon Rank 7s.

12 is the Rank 5 Chump Blocker

15 pretty much automatically goes in things that can realistically summon Rank 8s.

16 is great if you can summon it consistently.

17 in anything that can/does run Tour Guide.

19 has... A combo with Thunder Spark and Evols... without a consistent way to do so?

20 if you have a semi-loose extra.

22 FRANKEN IN EVERYTHING THAT RUNS WOME- *shot*

25 is, uh... Okay?

30 is a solid beatstick if you can fit it/make it.

32 is good for pushing for game, but its stats are lacking due to a 2750 dragon with a better effect. C32 is... why, just why.

33 is a lulzy OTK card.

34 is... meh.

39/C39 are R4 Staples.

40 is good for pressure but has less chances of being useful than other R8s.

50 is an R4 Staple.

56 is lulzy but... no.

61 is a great choice to turn into Gaia Dragoon

83 takes too many materials.

91 is good at the right moment, but suffers from many of the same issues as Shock Master.

96 is a hilarious finisher, though it's not guaranteed to be as useful as other R2s at any given time due to 3 materials.

Basically, almost every Number is rubbish, and some of the few that are good are generally staples/near-staples, of course generally dependant on their rank.

 

The archetype isn't even really an archetype, outside of being Xyz monsters they have literally nothing in common.

Welp. Everything's that have been discussed about the numbers have already been discussed here. I doubt that this thread can come up with anything new. Might as well speculate about the future numbers to keep this thread interesting. Why don't we speculate what Destiny Leo's number would be? My guess would be either 4, 44, 24, or 88.

Zenmaines would usally be what people open with four times out of five, or Leviair.

 

if anything, i wouldn't be surprised if Destiny Leo ended up as a Rank 8 tbh
