[/quote] Aside from Redrum's effect that SS itselfs and and Xyzing, what exactly is this going to stop? [/quote]Evolzars, Grapha, Wind-Ups, REDMD's banishing effect, BLS, Sorc, LPD from hand, Darkflare, DAD, Bubbleman, Hieratics, all Synchro and Xyz summons. Effect SS's: Rescue Rabbit, Jurrac Guaiba, TGU, Gorz, REDMD's effect, LPD's graveyard effect, Trag, Inzektor Dragonfly, Miracle Fusion, DWs that summon from the Graveyard. Now the better question is, how many of the effect summoners actually make a case to not run Rai-Oh? Rescue Rabbit - Saber can't get over Rai-Oh and Rai-Oh can just tribute to stop them from Xyzing. Jurrac Guaiba - 1700 ATK TGU - Sangan can't search and I can stop any Xyz Gorz - #1 REDMD's eff - Rai-Oh negated its summoning already LPD - the ONLY way REDMD or LPD should be getting on the field against Rai-Oh Trag - #2 Inzektor Dragonfly - #3 Miracle Fusion - #4 DWs - #4.5 ... it's only Goldd and Silva that you need worry about, so I don't really worry at all. So, I suppose my case is no, there are much more Inherent Summons, and, more importantly, many more summons that I don't want to deal with that are inherent rather than effects, making Rai-Oh a VERY good card. Almost every single deck has an easy answer against Rai-Oh, and it is very easy to have Rai-Oh wasted this format due to the amount of Special Summons increased.
