Equipment Eaters (anti inzekor maybe?)

Recommended Posts

Note: It has been pointed out to me that there is an error in most of these cards, there summon costs should be able to use equip cards from either side of the field. All other costs use your cards unless expliclty stated otherwise. I willl fix this and other errors when I have time.
Note2: these images were made before the "problem solving card text", so they have older wordings

^ this card should say "This card cannot be normal summoned or set"

Samurai is okay. Infinite Re-uses is always nice. Although, the Special Summoning condition is... Pretty bad. Why would I want to trib a monster? Either allow it to be normalled, or just allow it to be Special Summoned by ditching a equip.

Pyromancer, decent. Sure it's 2.4k, but that means Jack s*** now. The token is only 1.4k, meaning it will almost always die, only getting one use. While this is fine, there's so much freaking removal in this game, nothing will survive for more than 1 turn.

Dragon is probably the best of the 5, since it negates said destruction, and can attack twice. And it also has the re-use effect.

Archer sucks. It's really meh Monster Removal with only 1.5k, and while you can re-use it, it's just too damn weak. Tbh, I'd rather run Soul Taker.

Spear Bearer's pretty good too. Psuedo-2.4k isn't bad, and the drawing effect is nice.

And the whole problem with this whole Archetype: They can't be normalled, and you need a specific card to Special them. Even though the cards themselves would be good, the need to run Equips makes them bad. This isn't MtG where we have Swords and Skullclamp, and about 4 different equip tutors you can run at 4. To my knowledge, Yugioh only has 1 equip tutor: Hidden Armory. Basicially they're held back by Yugioh being a garbage game.

Anyway, I like them, but Archer and Spear Bearer should be normal summonable, at the least. Destroying one face-up monster on Summon isn't even broken anymore, yea. Yugioh is borked. Anyway, I don't give out number ratings. So yea...

This seems very...pro-Inzektor. If you want a card's cost to cover both players' fields, you need to specify that the card's cost covers both players' fields, like with Equipment Eater Spear Bearer or Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.

Samurai is average. Since there are few quick ways to dump it, and it can't be recycled, it's not especially strong. It clashes with Catastor, I suppose.

Pyromancer can work with Fiendish Chain and an equipped Inzektor for a long OTK combo that would also need to involve Samurai.

Equipment Eater Dragon is very big but its cost is equally massive. I like it.

I can imagine building a Deck around Spear Bearer. It is similar to Airknight Parshath in that the card you lose Summoning it is balanced out by the cards you gain (at exactly 1 for 1 if you use Koa'ki Meiru War Arms). The OCG on Spear Bearer allows it to be Normal Summoned, which I guess was accidental.

Now Archer is powerful, particularly for Vylons who get a free +1 off of her and Synchro Material. Unlike Samurai, she's a target for Dust Knight.

The part about costs covering both fields is a good catch, as all of them should do that.

Also, spear bearer cannot be nomal summoned or set, I must have used outdated text (original chaos sorcerer?) even for the time I made it by mistake.

more fixes to come, thankyou both for your comments
