Dodging the banhammer, one list at a time.

I am making this thread to point something out that I saw in byakk's lolbanlist thread.

Brionac is used less and less (thanks to Xyzs), and really only for lol-loops and to close duels in which case one is all you need. Yes, it is a card that should be banned, but I actually don't see what the point of limiting this vs. having it at 3 does. It wouldn't really do anything to the game.

Same reasoning for Constellar Ptolemys. If a broken Extra Deck card is around, all you really need is 1. (Citation: See Goyo Guardian, Trishula, Dark Strike Fighter).

Interesting point.

"Limiting Extra Deck cards is silly" is the general point of the thread.
Unless they cause problems/loops at multiples (See: WU Carrier)
Otherwise, I have no idea why this is at less than 3, because who uses synchros except synchrons or birdmen users, and Catastor.

Not being used much. Should go to 2.

Oh, look, my sarcastic comment completely supported the thread. Well that's too bad.

You limit broken or game-changing cards so that a player doesn't have to deal with the constant threat of them. Once they're out of the way, they're out of the way and a player actually has to think about whether now is the best time to use it or go into something else.

Except the main reason why it should see list attention is that you use multiples to hand loop your opponent with Gishkis.
