I don't usually post updates, but this one is interesting, as now we have it easier with custom formats.
I myself have already kicked some E-butt with my pre sept11 fish deck, and will probably try soon a Epic Dawn format tournament.

It's been there for 6 or so hours.

I like the match feature, makes the side deck something other than cosmetics, and im okay with the no banlist section,it's fun to play my old T.G. Synchro and stuff i couldnt experience before.

Tried building Unlimited Chaos Dragons.

Realized regular Chaos is better.

Lost to regular Chaos.

How do you lose when running chaos emperor dragon and eclipse wyvern in the same deck?

Goat control, Sept 11 Plants, Tele-DAD, TroopDoopScoop.

Heck, there's s*** tons of fun past formats that this makes so much easier.

And honestly, this should've been highlighted more in this thread, since so far everyone just seems to want to be a fa**** and run the dumbest s*** because they feel cool doing so, when really they just look dumb.

Viva la Goat format.

On-topic: Meh, seems like a coin flip format. I can understand the appeal, playing with some restrictions here and there, but it's pretty much every deck is gonna main 3x Pot of Greed and 3x Graceful Charity.

I could understand using it to play custom formats, like Goat Control or whatever Atem's last format was or play the game in the Pre-PTDN era, but if you already got a friend organized enough to follow you up on that, you could probably also organize proxies.

Well, it's the perfect chance to go nuts and build the most insane, broken decks in addition to playing past formats that you may or may not have experienced...which reminds me, I need to finish making Goat Control and find a Tele-Dad decklist because I've been wanting to play them since I began frequenting TCG. It's anything goes, and whether you want to play a crazy troll deck, or relive/experience a past format, it's a great way to screw around and play against decks besides the usual Wind-Ups, Chaos Dragons, Inzektors, Lightsworns, etc.

EDIT: There's also a lot of decks on the wikia I want to try out for the heck of it.

The idea behind Unlimited format is probably to run custom lists and retro formats. Taken to its logical extreme, most Decks will be "Traditional, but more broken", so you should never go to Unlimited unless with a friend who is playing by a similar rule. In other words, not doing random matches.

Mandatory matches are also pretty cool, and I understand the reasoning behind Matches using a completely different rating score, especially since Matches evidently use more rating points (obviously). But the Exp score also being divided feels kind of awkward.

The other updates are welcome, even if unneeded, exactly.

Only things here I care about are the "search only for cards at 0/1/2/3" option and single games so I can test against not-50 card decks sometimes (They are the only ones that want a rematch...)
Also, the Moving of the sort button bothers me, and now i'm going to instinctively press the default button every other second when making a deck...
New first also seems a bit pointless.
Other than those, Don't care.
