For some people to "pridefully" express dislike over homosexuality, it pretty much makes me doubt myself being a human. So does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is one graphic of a rainbow Oreo gonna create an actual boycott? Or just rainbow flavoredOreos just taste bad? Also, I find this hilarious:
This Account is Unplayable
The only thing that pisses me off about their support for gay pride is that the Oreo in the picture isn't real.
.Rai
I'm disliking the Oreo page. That is how much I hate gays. Yes, it's that serious /allnewsarcasmtags lol. Boycotts are generally ridiculously stupid and ineffective at bringing across a political message, and so is homophobia.

Βyakuya
I wonder if they actually do give it out. Seems like a challenge to bite and devour it. And I also wonder about the flavors coming inbetween each other. Does homosexuality taste like crap? But generally boycotting Oreos for a logo like this for a stupid reason is out of the question.
Sarcasm is quite hard to read over the Internet, and he said he was being serious. I'm only going by the textbook definition of Christianity, anyways, and as every Christian I've encountered has said that they believe in the Bible when I inquired about that, I am going off of that. I don't think that forming a new religion is silly at all, to be honest. Christianity is believing in the teaching of the Bible, if I remember my religions correctly. If you believe in your God, though do not worship what explains what it is or is not, then what are you worshiping? Christianity is based off of the Bible. That is obvious; I do think a true-hearted Christian would adhere to any and all rules set forth by that book. Of course, any sane person would shove away the more brutal aspects of that thing, like I can see you are doing, but in my opinion that amounts to denouncing a base of faith, though then again times and society has changed. I think the book is way outdated. Again...
I don't think that forming a new religion is silly at all, to be honest.
Do note I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, but I do have a hard time understanding this completely. Oh, and @the making a new religion comment, what about Islam? Food for thought.

Grunt Issun
Okay, allow me to try and restate this... I think, a lot of people misunderstand the meaning of Christianity, then. In other words, I think some people believe that a higher power created the universe and all, and because of their upbringing, automatically think of the Christian God, but don't follow actual Christianity, however, still call themselves Christians out of ignorance... Am I making sense? Anyway, I don't want to start a religious debate, so I should probably stop right now.

Tentacruel
Sorry and I will. It's certainly a smart business move on Oreo's part. It's like printing money. The controversy only strengthens it. I just wish people would stop ranting every time somebody says or does something that doesn't fit their exact views. The same people who want to boycott Oreo's are obviously fine with Chick-Fil-A and their shenanigans.

Tentacruel
Oreo. Taste the rainb... Owait. Also relevant, I found this on the KYM page in the comments. The full quote. " (Matthew 7:12) So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. (Mark 12:31) The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these. Tentacruel
It sucks when people act like complete condescending dicks in response to things like this, but in the end, they're only harming themselves. People need to get over themselves. While some boycotts work, those are usually because the majority of the population is already taking that side. Boycotting something simply because you don't agree with everything they say just gives them publicity.
Simping For Hina
I do believe that the bible only denounced the same sex marriage idea. I don't like the government takeover the concept of marriage mainly though. But that is for another time. Oreos supports gays. Awesome, let them do what they want. Complaining about it would just make your life worse because "YOLO" is a term for everyone (You obviously love oreos). Depriving yourself of something that many people like is up to them. If they want to boycott, let them. Oreos won't end and they would probably become more popular over time anyways. Some boycotts were famous because they ended up in failure, or some became successful and changed whatever. When this boycott is over, it would just be a laughing stock. They complain about companies support gays, but what about gay marriage in states? They probably do, and the state just doesn't give a f***. Well, in 10 years, can I get a good laugh at this if I care enough to remember it?
Tentacruel
Honestly, I hate how the gay marriage issue has been morphed in to some moral dilemma when it's really just a financial matter. Regardless of what you believe, there's no reason to not to give everyone the same financial benefits.
