Marisa Kirisame-ze
Maybe we should make rainbow colored water, so all the homophobes can, ya know, boycott that too.
Sarcasm doesn't really take place in only ONE part of a line. I for one am against homophobia and religion all the same. But none of that is relevant to the fact that people are immature, close-minded d*ckwads. But I'm gonna go with what Chris said and wish that that Oreo was real. :sweetjesus:

Questioning is also an umbrella term used by many. It includes Gender-f***, Undecided, etc. It is to allow people to not feel excluded from a group, and sets off the idea of independence. It may not be completely set out, but it is the correct name that things go by. And Wikipedia isn't the best site to get information. The link includes LGBTQ, but links to LGBT. Kind of giving off the wrong info, which isn't always true.

Tentacruel
I don't agree with the boycotts either, but you have to put them into perspective. Would you boycott a company that openly supported something you had a problem with? Probably not, but it's something to think about. You gotta be objective. Love and tolerance means accepting people even when you don't agree with them. Especially when you don't agree with them. This is what My Little Pony has taught us. Bull3tM0nk3y
.Rai said; "I'm disliking the Oreo page. That is how much I hate gays. Yes, it's that serious. lol. Boycotts are generally ridiculously stupid and ineffective at bringing across a political message, and so is homophobia." I now hate you. You're an asshat who can't even get over a cookie. A. Cookie. They're humans. Whether you like it or not. You're no different then the people 50 years ago against black people. Hatcher said; "Trying telling that to Rosa Parks The problem with this particular boycott is I doubt homophobes make up a sizeable portion of Oreo's clients and even if they do I'm sure other people will more then pick up the slack, like when JC Penny did the 2 Dads thing on Father's Day and had Ellen Degeneres as their spoke person." BURN! But yes, the LGBT community is getting stonger. And with Atheistism and Agnosticism taking over soon-ish, LGBTs are most likely to be accepted. Kakashi Hatake said; "Does it really matter if they support homosexuality? Oreos are some d*amn good cookies." Yes. It does. It shows how they are to the world. Light Υagami said; "I wonder if they actually do give it out. Seems like a challenge to bite and devour it. And I also wonder about the flavors coming inbetween each other. Does homosexuality taste like crap? But generally boycotting Oreos for a logo like this for a stupid reason is out of the question." Maybe not. It might just taste like cream. It is rather silly. Wandering Artist - Issun said; "Just because we believe in God doesn't mean we buy into that Bible crap. I mean, making a new religion JUST for people who believe in a Christian god but not the bible is extremely silly. I mean, honestly, I think there's a lot of people who believe in God, but don't hold Christian Ideals by any means." Also, I don't think you caught that Rai was probably joking. It is silly. There are over 60 different versions of Christianity just for that reason. It's the copy and paste Bible. And most likely, no. Wandering Artist - Issun said; "Okay, allow me to try and restate this... I think, a lot of people misunderstand the meaning of Christianity, then. In other words, I think some people believe that a higher power created the universe and all, and because of their upbringing, automatically think of the Christian God, but don't follow actual Christianity, however, still call themselves Christians out of ignorance... Am I making sense? Anyway, I don't want to start a religious debate, so I should probably stop right now." I couldn't have said it better myself. Shradow said; "My only wish is that they make that an actual oreo." Same here. .Rai said; Oh, don't worry. Just me generally mocking all the idiots who actually think that's reasonable. Utterly against homophohia myself. And, Hatcher, probably saying all boycotts don't work was an overestimate." Good cover! [sub][sup]NOT![/sup][/sub] Comrade Trollestia said; "Honestly, I hate how the gay marriage issue has been morphed in to some moral dilemma when it's really just a financial matter. Regardless of what you believe, there's no reason to not to give everyone the same financial benefits." Why does it have to be a dilemma? Oh, your 2000 year old book says it's wrong for gays to have rights? Tell me where it says that in the Bill of Rights. Chris said; "I wanna see what kinda s*** would go down if America elected a gay president." Another civil war. Comrade Trollestia said; "I don't agree with the boycotts either, but you have to put them into perspective. Would you boycott a company that openly supported something you had a problem with? Probably not, but it's something to think about. You gotta be objective. Love and tolerance means accepting people even when you don't agree with them. Especially when you don't agree with them. This is what My Little Pony has taught us." Friendship is really is magic. Oeros have been around for 100 years. If they go away, it's because that they change something in their cookie. Not that they like human rights. (I had to make my post like this because I had "way to many quotes". Stupid YCM.)

Besides, I did say homophobia was ridiculously stupid in the next sentence :S
You said it 2-3 times in this thread. Nobody keeps a bluff like that in a thread for that long. Christ taught me to be compassionate and tolerant of all people, no matter their situation. People...happen to corrupt those teachings with their ideals of homophobia and whatnot. It is sickening, but it really can't be helped. For now, people need to focus on giving compassion and tolerance to everyone, especially the needy. When we do that, then we truly can be united as a world, and everyone's faith in humanity will be restored.
