[Tour Guide]'s brother is a Rhythm Theif

Downloaded the demo for this about hour ago. I got hooked to it so fast. Much faster than the Kingdom Hearts 3D demo.

OT: Tour Guide is what she is. Ever since she was released, she's been the money card for Konami since her debut in Extreme Victory as a TCG exclusive. Now she's in 2 meta decks that spam all the rank 3s from Acid Golem to Zenmaines. I never got my hands on one and probably won't count on it until she gets placed on the short bus of Limited cards.

Discuss.

At least talk about the card, hypocrite.
YOU try saying something about TGU that either hasn't been said or isn't so blatantly obvious that you should be castrated for saying it.

I don't understand where it's a "Money" card anymore. Rares are like anywhere between $15-17 dollars, which means they're ridiculously easy to pick up in trades.

It's still bad card design, and while I'd like to think the Battle Pack was a way of getting this card printed like crazy so everyone would buy them only for this to be put on the list in a few months, I'm sticking to my gut feeling that our little Guide shall remain at 3 in the upcoming format.

i still see TGU's on ebay going for £20/$20+ so imo it's still a money card, and depending on the area, it isn't necessarily easy to pick up. Me for example i would have to pay like £60 for a playset because the guys at my locals don't want to trade their spare TGUs with me. However i see my personal experiences to be a terribad argument when comparing it to your post

in fact, my friend still wants this to be reprinted as a SR promo because he still believes its hard to come by, because people are saying you would get 1-a box, 2 if you're lucky, but you could get 0 in a box, he's only saying that because he was unlucky enough to get 0 TGUs in his box

I've pulled 2 from blisters at Target, but that's about it. It's still a decent value card, but most people around my area sell playsets for $50, so it's not too bad.

$50 for a set isn't that bad, although it isn't as bad as people overpricing them. One of my friends almost paid £90 for a set, until i told him he can get them cheaper
as for the blisters thing, those blisters aren't sold in England as far as i know

i before e, except after c.

It's TGU... idk what you want anyone to discuss.
Actually, I think you'll find that schools no longer teach that, because there are actually more words that are an exception to the rule than that follow it. :D

I know that from Stephen Fry.

On Topic: Erm... I have to say something that's new and adds to the discussion right?

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Because villains in suits/long coats/trench coats with a fedora/cowboy hat are so uncommon. The only thing linking this to TGU is red hair and arguably the navy suit.

Anyways, though they don't really deserve it, Fiend decks are the only places that this should be used, in an ideal environment. Sadly, the environment is in no way ideal, so it exists all over, deeply entwined in the meta. Hopefully she goes soon.

I honestly, don't see the point in the card being played in the decks, I mean yes, I know it's the whole self calling deck thinning and exceed summoning, but it's really only as useful as the exceeds it creates. ( which of course becomes zenmanes, that monster should have been archtyped on the materials)
my reasoning is that it just doesn't support any deck directly by doing what it does, it's just beat-stick.
so, what other uses does it have now?

It was used pre-Zenmaines ._.

Its uses are to
A. fetch Sangan (Namely for synchro decks)
A+. FEtch other fiends for the deck like Broww, Infernity Necromancer, and Kushano
B. Thin the deck
C. Make Leviair to get back Banished Stuff, Zenmaines to Chump Block, and 17 to beatstick, among other things.

No, not EVERY deck should use her, but more than a few should.

Let's talk about how the meta would change if this is semi'd or limited. Maybe THAT can spur some discussion for once before this topic dies.
We tried that before, and it died almost immediately =X

At 1 or 2 it becomes a card for fiend decks, like before.

The "problem" with @2 is if they print a level 3 fiend target with a once per duel revival or w/e, but I would in no way put that past Konami.

Well if it dies, it dies, at least we try discussing something new.

Guess the main question is how far up do fiend decks, especially under meta ones like unfairnities and your own Fabled rise when the meta sinks down with TGU's limiting?

Dark World are just fine with this at 1. Of course, Yuzuru already stated why.
