[/quote] Maity is fine when it isnt being brought out for absolutely no cost or looping/OTKing you,he even has bad stats and dies in battle for a -1 later,and rat is just poor design for being a free good summon. [/quote] No it's not fine =/ Atums, even without Gaia Dragon, is still terrible design. It's still a free summon that leads to more combos for no good reason. Just because it's not a high power monster doesn't mean it's not a free summon from the deck. If you don't have rat. you can just pair it up with Magician and the like to swarm more.
