Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, at least it's better than Lightning Vortex. In almost any deck, there's no point to spells in your grave, and you're bound to have them floating in there. I wouldn't call it a great card, but... it's better than Lightning Vortex. Alpakha
Funny name, horribly tragic picture. A magician being killed by the things she studied and loved her whole life, while her dear loving pet desperately try to save her and fail. Now she dies a slow tragic death while her beloved comrades watch as they cannot do a single thing... but weep. .... i'm too dramatic, anyways this card would kill prophecy/spellbook unless they run a lot of almas. It doesn't seem too helpful, but a balanced alternative to raigeki.
Lightning is still better (in most decks). This card is dead for a long time. You'd need at least 5 spells in the grave to take out anything decent, and even then there's a lot of threats it wont kill. The discard hurts lightning, but at least you can use it if you really need to.

Expelsword
And then there's some other card that destroys monsters on the field... I can't remember it... Unless you're using Blasting the Ruins OTK, you won't have enough Spells, and if you are, it ruins the deck.
Yeah but in an ideal world, Dark Hole would have its broken backside in the forbidden section. In the realm of balanced monster removal, this card certainly isn't terrible, but realistically it's only useful for taking out minor threats. 3 spells in grave = goodbye Thunder King (plus whatever other weenies they may have on board). I'd probably still play Fissure and Smashing Ground over it though .
This Account is Unplayable
Dark Hole's good design right now, though. It stops players from over-extending and punishes players who do.

Toffee.
Personally, 400 per Spell card would have been better, while still being within its range of concept.

Spells/Traps are pretty difficult to get back. I found that out when I was making a custom Spell recycler, "Recycle Bin Restore" (finding the link and commenting would be necrobumping). Synchronized
It's still not a terrible card. In a Spell heavy Deck, it might actually make for an interesting tech. It's definitely outclassed but I've considered throwing one in Bubblebeat merely as a test to see how well it would work since most of your Spell Cards are useless while in the Graveyard and you do go through them so quickly.
