Otherwise, what is the point? Please tell me I'm missing something.

It's a secondary search card for Spellbooks. What is there to miss?

The fact that it searches 1 of 3 at random that have different names and, as a lesser concern, requires no spellbooks in grave at all?

Seriously, there's no point to use this when it doesn't offer ANY consistency. At least, not that I can see.

f***ing useless.<br/>

Do you have to always swear when you try to make your point?

I wouldn't see it as useless, but more of just a hard effect to use, I guess Konami really want to banish the Spellbooks

Spellbooks can empty their grave quite easily. Between Priestess and the Tower, it's not difficult at all.

Do you have to care what words I used to voice a point?

"If you have no "Spellbook" Spell Cards in your Graveyard:"

You generally have at least 1 after a Destroyer revival, if not more.

Thank you for addressing the LESSER ISSUE.

It's still a random search that is going to screw you over at the absolute WORST of times.

It just makes your arguments less mature than what they should be. You always make up good points, but then your overuse of swearing just makes you look like a douche who only likes it when he gets your way. We all know you just put on a "cool" act by spraying cuss words all over the place, but just because you think youre better than everyone else, you are not.

I don't run Destroyer, and my build still works perfectly fine.

This is why playtesting exists.
Remember when everyone said Gustaph Max was terribad? When everyone thought that Chaos Dragons were bad?
No one had found to optimal build for Chaos Dragons back then. But then someone discovered that a monster-heavy mill engine worked wonders, and it became tier 1.
The same can be held true for this. All that needs to happen is playtesting.

so basically, your opponent picks either...

a searcher
banishing cost premature burial
or aqua jet + searcher

and you use it to either thin your deck out again, or reborn de fleur.

seems to me like the consistency for spellcasters is starting to become a bit better with every card release, imo.

It's RANDOM. Random is bad. This is basic sense. Gustaph was bad because there was no consistent way to summon it. Then Evigishki Zealgigas and Hieratics happened. Chaos Dragons were bad because they hadn't found the optimal build, yes, but that has nothing to do with this card.

It's a search that has a 1/3 chance of getting what you REALLY want and 2 inferior choices. Unless you have the one you want banished, then it can become a 2/3.

Yes, I could be wrong, but this is absolutely mediocre on paper, at best.

That's my point. It needs to be tested.
Also, the build I've used doesn't use Leadership at all, and once again, it works fine. I find Leadership to be situational.

And I'm saying that I don't see it going well and that you're overhyping it for no reason. It's luck based and the deck is already consistent enough to not need this, from what I've seen. It'd dead draw easily and you'd be hating life. Then you use it and get exactly what you don't want. So, what do you do then? Chancey cards generally aren't good.

So you have even LESS chance of getting what you want. How is this proving anything?

All I've said is that I see potential in this card, and that I'm planning on testing it. You're saying that it's worthless.
