I agree with you, Turok and Haze were both games I really enjoyed. Also, IDK if this was unpopular, a game called WarHawk on PS3. I really liked that game. Though I think it was unpopular because it was MP only and only had SP tuts and no campaign. But still, I loved the game nonetheless. Anyone agree?

Was Wind Waker unpopular? I remember hearing it wasn't exactly well received, what with it's Cel-Shading.
If so, Wind Waker is definitely there.

Wind Waker was poorly received, but now many people are even starting to put it above Ocarina of Time as the best Zelda.

...could just be because now there are people for whom Wind Waker was their childhood as opposed to Ocarina...or it could be because the game is AWESOME

HmmmmmMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmMMMMMMmmm...wow, I can't think of anything.

Oh, Mako... Metal Arms was such a fun game for me! I beat it on every difficulty and is one of those games that makes you think, "Y U NO MAKE SEQUEL?!". The theme, the gameplay, and just about everything else was fun about that game (Kronk FTW, Slosh FTW, Glitch FTW, Dr. Exavolt FTW, and Everyone else FTW.). Metal Arms equals one of the best games I ever played.

It was absolutely horrid, but I just couldn't help but laugh my ass off when watching people play it. Dem glitches, mang.

Such horrible entertainment.

Jesus christ now I am remembering bad games over the years.

Parappa Rappa being one of them.

It's too bad I spent my likes on the last thread I posted in... otherwise every single comment here would get one! :D
Especially yours, Infinite and Mako. Metal Arms holds a special place in my heart.
Klonoa and Dead Head fred are two games that were well received by critics, but weren't as successful as they deserved to be.
As for a game that garnered some dislike, I'd have to pick Duke Nukem Forever. The seas of hatred wash over it often, but I didn't think it was that bad.
I might have even had some *gasp* FUN with it!

I don't know if any of them were really unpopular, but I do think these were underappreciated.

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (1 & 2, for GBA), excellent strategy games with deep, involved plot and memorable characters.

Goblin Commander: Unleash The Horde (for Xbox), another excellent RTS, and among the first games I owned for the system.

Phantom Dust (for Xbox), easily the best xbox game I've ever played, with a darkly styled world, eccentric characters, unique gameplay, and a twisting plot.

Yugioh: The Falsebound Kingdom (for Gamecube), still my all time favorite game for any system, and by far the one I wish they'd made a true sequel too, it truly didn't receive the praise it deserved.

007 Nightfire. First FPS I ever played, and still my favorite to this day.
Need For Speed: Carbon. Probably the best racing game I've ever played (behind Mario Kart, of course.) Sure the single player portion was short, but I found it to be a lot of fun. And it was probably the last NFS game released that was actually any good.

Obs-cure (an ironicly obscure Survival Horror set in a school. Sounds cliche but has a lot of heart and I just really enjoy it. The prospect of using flashlights on enemies to weaken them, is nothing new but is pulled off well in this game. The monsters are creepy. REALLY creepy. Although rare, the actual cutscenes in the game are beautifully done and look incredibly realistic.)

Silent Hill Origins (I believe it is the worst rated game of the Silent Hill series but I honestly don't know what the reviewers were smoking when they played it. The game is just really good, not as good as Silent Hill 2 or 3 but definitely better than 4. It is quite a short game but i enjoyed the new elements introduced, including the choice to have transitions between the Otherworld and the Real World. The storyline was good, considering the game acted as a prequel. I particularily liked how it linked Travis' backstory with that of Silent Hills' backstory, creating a really nice interwoven storyline. However, I did think there wasn't that much focus on the characters with Dahlia Gillespie only making 3 appearances in the whole game. But besides that, a surprisingly good game.)
