Sleepy Posted September 28, 2012 Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 Back in the days of the pre-GX period, it was hard to reduce your resourses fast enough. With some effort, Blade Knight achieved it's 2000 ATK, but this card is something else.... I don't think I've ever seen someone attack with it. If you don't have many resourses around, you can't Tribute for this anyways, and if you do, you are better off using those resourses for something else. Some people argue that it is a good material for Evil HERO Dark Gaia, though. I personally would rather have a Fiend-Type that is compatible with Trade-In instead of letting Valkyrion alone take that load. It's just 500 or so, less ATK in exchange... Sooo, no, I don't think it is all that great. I still have a copy of it somewhere, just because I think the art is awesome. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only way to even use this would be Skill Drain, and even then, Barbosa is a better option 9.8 times out of 10. What if you add in your deck, plenty of those traps that discard a card, to destroy/return to hand etc? Oh, as well as Ring of Magnetism + Rising Energy (to troll your opponent, when they see the 3000 atk monster they were facing suddenly have 4500 atk) As well as plenty of easy to special summon or get rid of monsters, as tributes and to ease Fiend's ability to attack It's still a bad card tho. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 Its name seems like it would be more fitting as "Ultimate Obedience Fiend" and not "Ultimate Obedient Fiend" since it is not entirely obedient. It won't attack if you have other monsters or other cards, thus requiring you to be completely dedicated to it rather than the other way around.
