newhat
This card makes Wind-Up combos extremely fast, makes Veiler significantly less effective, and can go for Ranks 3-5. It basically makes Wind-Ups self-sufficient, not requiring Instant Fusion or some particular unfavorable condition for its Special Summon.
mido9
imo magician > TGU > Rat > Factory > Maity
ihop
Shark is hardly broken when you look at the fundamental card design, it's not much better than, say, Noble Knight Gawayn, it's just the cards that can trigger it.
Very true. With copies of itself it does have the potential to make rank 3-5's, though.
ihop
Using 2 cards in hand that requires a bit of setup/lucky drawing seems about fair for a rank 5. Shark is a well-designed card in a badly-designed archetype.

Dementuo
Reason why Wind-Ups work is because just about all their good cards are either +1s or -0s. Magician is a Plus Rat is a plus Maity is a -0 that can turn into a Plus Factory turns into loads of pluses Rabbit and Shark are also -0s, though both of which will basically trigger all the pluses on their own. -Berserker-
Favorite Wind-Up. Can also work in a Fish deck.

El Majishan
Armz. Shark didn't break Magician. It just took advantage of it. There's a difference. Namely, that Magician is the issue.
Its funny because Magician is pretty meh with anything other than Shark. It also funny because a lot "pro" players (most notably Billy) didn't like running it last format.

Strider Tigerwolf
Ban the Magician that keeps spawning other Wind-Ups because Shark doesn't know how to put on a Condom! Oh wait...Magician removes his condom.... Anyways: Card IS fundamentally balanced. Magician and the Xyzs that follow just abuse and together "break" gameplay, though *points at magician* some do it more *points at magician* than others *grabs shotgun and points at magician*.
