Considering how combo-orientated and horrendously volatile this format is gonna be, Glad Beasts have no place in it. Sure, they got tons of support, but unfortunately, other cards use it better.

I beg to differ when combined with Firestars who also use this support quite nicely. I can now go Soko at any time, any place, anywhere and then just rack +s from there. Not only that, but I do believe Firestars have that Main Phase safe zone of theirs :o and since this guy rests in the Graveyard until the Standby, Retiari will have fun taking him out from the game no problem. :3
But Soko is bad. Same goes for that trap. I would rather have Lance and the stuff you'd make Soko with.

Soko is not bad. It's just an option. I could also go for any generic rank 4 .-. and/or get me Laquari, set Bestiari for some Gyzarus plays. The deck is just a lot more flexible and faster with the card and even if it IS combo oriented, it's now at the point where the plays can "keep up" with other auto-pilot decks.
The Deck already had a Deck to hand searcher. Tenki won't make them much better. It doesn't make them as fast as you're saying.

I'd rather have a card that Summons on field than a card that adds to hand. That transition is something Firestars/Glads can take full advantage of.
Except even with this, they still suck as much as they did before.

Everytime Glads get something everyone's like "OMG Glads Tier 0". They're staying at Tier 2.5 like they always have.

Not much faith on Glads, you have, do your not? -.- Well I'll let the format speak for itself.
I always have faith for Glads, but my faith relies on it will always stay at a stable place in the format.

We always judge it based on the current format. If Glads had all this support coming out in the current format, yes, it would probably be an insanely consistent deck to play amongst all the luck-sack combo decks.

Unfortunately, relatively, for next format, nah. When everything scales up, luckily, Glad Beasts scales up with it but unfortunately at the same proportions - i.e. it scales up to Tier 2.5 in the new format.

Besides, no matter what happens, pure Firestars are better than a GB hybrid.

Also, when do I want to go into Soko when I could go into Essedarii?

I'm the one that's been testing the Hybrid, and it's been testing very nicely. Frankly, Soko > Essedari for 2 major reason:

It searches Firedance Spell/Traps, AND it's a Beast-Warrior.

I also use Essedari, but that's with Murmillo, Equeste and Retiari. Bestiari obviously goes into Gyzarus, but Laquari + Darius are ALWAYS going into Soko. Unless it's Darius with the other guys. That's a different story.

Soko to Tenki to Search new Laquari/Firestar monsters? Yes please. Set a Firedance Tenken/Tensen? Yes please! Get me Firedance Tensu? EPIC! And it's so easy to make with Darius + Laquari, especially since Glads "tag out".

Tensu gets me Laquari/Darius out along side bestiari for easy combos
Tenki searches and it's amazing
Tenken at 1 is good
Tensen at 2 is awesome

And with Soko being able to search any and being accessible to Glads as well, I can go back and forth with the archtype however I please.

Add a card that can give me Laquari/any Firestar from the Deck onto the field? I'd more than happily make room for it, even at 2.

Tenken is apparently only usable during your Main Phase, so Lance is much better.
Where have you been in the last month? They already corrected it to any Main Phase 1 - in Manjyome, DN, Wikia, everywhere - , not just yours. It would be plain retarded to be like that.

And besides, Lance can be simpler to use, but it doesn't have near as much support as this card. Sure, you don't want to run many of them, but lance doesn't have the same sinergy in Flaming Stars, nor does provide protection to monster effects. It also lowers your monster's ATK if used in yourself. Maybe in GB FS Lance may do a better work, but other builds will probably want Tenken, since Lance there will have no significative point to be there other than helping trigger Ensho first effect. The Forbidden series is good, but in no way they should be considered as staples for any deck out there.

I don't see how this card is broken. It negates the effect. Not just while they're on the field but everywhere. It's the equivalent of hitting a monster with veiler. It doesn't matter where it resolves it still is negated. The only reason the whole "not resolved on field" issue came about was due to skill drain and only skill drain because it only affects the field. This card would just be getting out someone for an attack or a xyz. It's a little broken maybe, but not as hardcore as anyone is making it out to be. Hell we should be more concerned about the banlist we have this format than this card.

I should really introduce you to Konami sometime.
Yeah, but this time they seemingly want to make things right... or make things wrong the right way, at least. You know, broke the FIRE attribute.

LOL do you really think Konami would miss the chance of making another broken Structure Deck/Archetype in order to oversell?
