.Rai
Starlight is still generally the better card, no matter what's said. This can be used in some obscure variants though.
Kingdom Xathers
+Can't be wrecked by Warning +Banishes instead of sending to Grave -Doesn't Summon a 2500 beater/one-time use destruction preventer. Other than that, not much to discuss. Everyone else will tell you, though, that Starlight's better.

EmpoleMew
Pros: Can't be negated by Warning. Banishes instead of destroying (in case of recycling or Black Rose or something). Spell Speed 3. Cons: Doesn't get a second free negation off a 2500 body. Isn't a Gold Rare. wow okay super ninjas in here
-Berserker-
Can negate Scrap Dragon.
Darj
This card is also good in non-Dragon Solidarity Decks and in the side along Rivalry of Warlords.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Uhh, the fact that it's a counter trap? Starlight would kill to be a counter trap.
It doesn't even matter if it's a counter trap or not, except for the purpose of your opponent activating a second Torrential or an MST to stop your summon and such. b0b3rt
Should only really be used where the contents of your grave matter (i.e. Rock Stun with Block Golem). The minute disadvantages of Starlight are far outweighed by the +1 Stardust.
newhat
This card isn't exactly narrow, but there's not much benefit to pulling the effect off. The only Deck I'd use it in is Watt, where sustaining the lock is key to your strategy and bringing out a Stardust can get you killed.
Airride
It's a counter for Counter Faries/Vanny too. Only reason I care about this, along with the above comment about Grave Contents.
