With this card's print in the Realm of the Sea Emperor Deck, I figured it might be worth a second look, and I tested it to moderate success in Atlanteans, although my build was flawed and I didn't know all too well how it works so I'm not much of a valid source. That said, the card is brilliant in terms of card design in that it's balanced in its own weird way, but can make for some crazy hand control with itself, Mind Crush, Moulinglacia, and abuseable WATER monsters that recycle and do things of that nature. It's a very good card. I think it's definitely possible we could see this as a Super print depending on how much they want to promote the WATER set and whether or not this sees any play, but I'd definitely be thrilled to pick up a set, as it's one of my favorite cards and I think the Super foil would look amazing. Anyway, am I crazy? Is this thing just terrible? Idk, discuss, generate interesting conversation, go~
Not-so-Radiant Arin
Any card that has the opportunity to look at your opponent's hand is pretty dangerous, in my opinion. It can lead you to stopping your opponent's plays if you have the proper outsnand if your opponent doesn't have any outs, control of the match pretty much shifts to you. That's why I don't like cards like Dragged Down/this/Trap Dustshoot/etc. It may not look it, but peeking at your opponent's hand and deducing their strategy isn't hard work, especially in this meta. Dementuo
Eria <3 This is freaking amazing. It's well-designed (mostly) and is a good chainable -1. Agro
I don't see this getting it. Though I see Utopia getting a reprint for the upteenth time.

Though I see Utopia getting a reprint for the upteenth time.
That's almost a necessity at this point, and Utopia will undoubtedly be one of the Ultimates, giving it an actually valuable version, considering even the current hardest-to-acquire rarity, which is DT Super, is only like $5. Still, I wouldn't rule this out especially with the heavy push for WATER right now.

ihop
My bet on Astral Pack Ultimates- Arcanite Magician Utopia Tsukoyomi Supers- 4 already announced Gemini Spark Swap Frog Wind-Up Magician Genex Undine Hope for Escape One Day of Peace roughly OT, card is amazing and should be run in pure Atlanteans if maybe not Mermails. Chainable too.
Synchronized
Undine comes Super already, though. It wouldn't make much sense to print something that already comes Super as a Super again. That, and I can't help but think that one of the "never before released" cards, like the ones that will come in the packs, will be an Ultimate, perhaps Volcasaurus or something. --- Either way, I definitely hope this card sees more play as WATER Hand Control is such a fun Deck to play. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Cards like this poop on conservative players. You didn't activate Dark Hole as soon as you drew it? Goodbye. Didn't play Heavy Storm? Goodbye. Saving your power monster for next turn? Too bad.
It was, but I'm just saying I'd rather that spot be given to something that doesn't yet have a Super (or a foil at all, really) print. I understand they did it with the tins but with Astral Packs geared towards competitive players (or at least people who play at Tournaments/Events), you'd think they'll try and focus on rarity upgrades and making some commonly-played cards easier to obtain for budget players.
While I do agree with you on that, and I respect the points that you're making, I don't have any negative opinions about this at all, (although the way I made it sound in my previous post, might prove otherwise.) because I would also rather that spot go to something else. Talking about Undine again, I'd think that the Supers would be hard to come by, heck I only saw 1 Super Undine on ebay, and that's being sold for £32 (compared to the easier to come by commons going for about £2). Although I can see your argument about Undine because you're american and you would've at least had access to the supers (at some point whilst the DT was around) unlike the rest of TCG-land who would have no choice to play the commons unless they imported it from America. I maybe diggin' myself into a hole saying that, but I must respect your opinions in saying that the spot might as well go to something else. ihop
Living in the UK I have never seen nor heard of a super Undine. Astral pack would make it much easier to come by and in Europe Super Undine is basically a myth.
