Miror B
As far as I can tell it has no restrictions on Normal Summoning ._.

EmpoleMew
It's an archetype exclusive level 6 Rescue Rabbit that sets up the grave. In other words, amazing. Ironically, it's not that important in the deck.

Sora1499
Kickass scenario #1: Have a hand like this; Peryton, lance lord, rekindling, pillar, gryps, and solemn 1. Special summon gryps 2. Activate pillar, normal summon Peryton 3. Ditch Lancelord, get 2 Cerberus 4. Overlay 1 gryps and 1 Cerberus into Ptolemys 5. Detach 1 material, get back Peryton 6. Activate rekindling, get back 3 monsters from grave. Still have 1 Cerberus 7. Overlay into 2 more Ptolemys 8. Get back 2 more cards OR sack field for game What just happened. Blake
Honestly, you should almost always use Perton to grab 2 Cerberus, and if not possible, Hippogriffo or Spinx, should you run the latter. I've only grabbed others when my deck was low on targets.
Sora1499
@Maxxion I try. OT: Rekindling might be put at 2 due to haze beast abuse. It easily allows for a 4/5-material basilisk, and that's your win condition.

I can see many more OP uses of this card in just about any FIRE deck, none of which would end well for the opponent in the most horrible of ways. Sora1499
Agreed. Rekindling has the worst card design since JD and raigeki, and now it has a (potentially) meta-level archetype to abuse it, instead of being restricted to crummy lavals. But without rekindling haze beasts aren't quite meta... Hopefully Konami will release some more support/new members in the future, I'd like to see where they go with the set. Blake
... Lavals were meta early last format. Where have you been? And, while I'm not fond of things that pull from the deck like this, Peryton is far from the deck's main problem. The main problems are the Rekindling target that searches when it blows up, and Basilicok. That said, "problem" is being used loosely. That said, Rekindling is still a problem card, and is completely banworthy.
