in c:\program files\yvd\ or wherever you install YVD to, there is an IMAGES folder.

In there, create a new folder with the name of your card set. for example, we'll use YCM as an example for yugioh card maker.

You named a card YCM for it's set, so it looks in here for the image.

The image MUST be 40 pixels by 40 pixels in GIF format. For the name of the image, make it the name on the card text without spaces (for example Winged Kuriboh would be wingedkuriboh)

You got everything right

but do u guys know how to import the images

fairly simple

get an image that has a Length = Width

After that

open gimp

and open the image

scale it down to 40 by 40

after that

save it as .GIF in the appropriate set file in the images document inside the YVD folder

it must be saved as >GIF

and must be 40 by 40 ^^

I've followed the format and the instructions exactly and pasted them into my yvd set file, but the cards don't show up.

If it helps at all, I'm using YVD v.9. I don't know if v.9 doesn't support it.

EDIT: I got it to work. If anyone else has this problem with v.9, there is a yvd set file in both the SETS folder and in the main folder.

To all the people getting "Runtime Error 339" I'm assuming it's because you are using Vista. Right-click the Application and click "Properties". Go to "Compatability" and tick the box saying "Run as an administrator.". It should now work. It worked for me. :)
