Blake
I could see Crimson Blader coming out alongside them as an import in CBLZ. Luckily Rank 6 has a number of good/great monsters.

I still don't see how these can work well. .-. [/quote] Cerberus is really what does it. He's searchable by Assault/Onslaught of the Fire King(s), grabs Pillar/Peryton/Gryps, and is easily set off. Peryton's a "Rescue" Platypus that searches more Cerberus/Cerberus and a Spinx, and Spinx benefits knowing the amount of cards you've played/in your deck. She still has a luck element, but it's, at worst, a free mill. Laval Lancelord and Cerberus are also Rekindling targets, enabling you to set up the grave fast enough to make plays when you draw Rekindling. Horn of the Phantom Beasts can also provide support, seeing as you should be running around 7 or more targets for them. Honestly, I don't see them being any more than casual, but they're fun as hell. Blake
Goka still seems bad to me. Yes, it's a free Level 6... But it only works in conjuncture with Cerberus or maybe Barong. He's the main combo piece, but he's not THAT constant as to warrant a non-Rekindling target that could easily dead draw. I also don't like Cardcar, because I'd rather keep Gryps live until I could be using Strike Bounzer to push/Beetle to bail my ass out. Debating if I should move this to deck discussion section... Master of Sabers
Goka is a free level six when combined with Solda, you know. Westlo + Elias work well with these guys.
This Account is Unplayable
Gonna point out that no one on ygopro is good, it's essentially a goldfish test on there. So, you can say Haze-Beasts can work in a vacuum, but what about against another player?

Aix
Ha, I just played it that way cause I wanted to do it just once for the lulz and my opponent's astonishment and frustration at how to remove it But having it definitely benefits, besides, what else would you put in the deck to fill it up? EmpoleMew
I'm confused, are we talking about Goka or Basilicock here? Because Goka is good even outside Cerberus plays while Basilicock is in all honesty, pretty lackluster.
Blake
Goka's awful here. The only reason to play it is because it's a Level 6 FIRE. Whoopdedoo, there are no better cards to do that. Even a Rank 6 isn't worth it being a -2. And Basilicok's the only Xyz you need unless you're pushing for game, most cases. This Account is Unplayable
It honestly seems like everyone's overrating the f*** out of Basilicock. And you can literally run 3 Upstart Goblins instead of Goka since it's a better use of space.

Not the multiple materials, the banishing from field/grave. The others are there for protection sake, generally, and you just don't need them until late game more often than not. You honestly don't even Xyz THAT much because you have a bunch of beaters that tend to either refund or gain for themselves. Agree on Upstart. Way better. Why would they blow up your S/T and not kill Goka? And that combo is situational as f***. It's a 3 card combo that requires a bad card that's practically useless or completely situational outside of that, especially when the only part of that combo that makes so much as a +1 is a Luck Based card. -2 R6 Xyz are in no way worth it. You're reading the right thing. You barely even need Xyz, except to get over big threats, so you don' need anything but Basilicok to remove threats until you're pushing for game. I don't see how this is that hard a concept when you're working with, mostly, beatsticks that laugh at Veiler/Lance/Etc.
