Activate by paying 1000 Life Points while you control a face-up XYZ monster. Once per turn: You may select one face-up XYZ monster you control and target one monster on your field or in your Graveyard whose Level/Rank is equal to the selected XYZ Monster's Rank; attach that target to the selected XYZ monster as an XYZ material.

This does NOT allow you to XYZ Summon from your Grave, only to add more material to fuel effects like Acid Golem or Utopia

This is pretty much pointless, there is already stuff like Overlay Regen and Xyz Unit, both pretty much doing the same thing, except Xyz Unit is more useful in most situations as it give an ATK boost. Both cards I just mentioned do not have a cost. The only way I can see a spell card being really useful by getting an Xyz Material from the Graveyard would be if it were a quickplay and you attached 1 monster from your opponent’s graveyard, thus acting like a D.D. Crow but supporting your Xyz.

Ah, but those only add +1 XYZ Material, full stop.

This one adds +1 XYZ Material PER TURN.

Think of the strongest "detach one XYZ Material" effect you can think of on an XYZ Monster. That just became free.

except theres spirit converter, which is also once per turn, has no cost (though there is a limitation to materials you can attach), and when its destroyed it lets you recycle two thunder monsters.

Axi pretty much covered everything wrong with this card. In our format, this card would probably last about 2 turns, tops, because MST is at 3. Furthermore, why would I want to waste precious deck space on a card that's ridiculously slow and is only useful in dire and few situations? I'd rather run Xyz reborn, and even that's not all too good. If I were you, I'd cut out the cost entirely: it's not necessary for such a lack of reward.
