youtube signature help

I am just asking on the following topic since I tried various methods and followed the guide where [ media ] youtube link [ /media ] has turned out like this...

[media][url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMWVjHXalbs"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMWVjHXalbs[/url][/media]

can anyone help me with how you get around with setting up a youtube video in your signature if the method for it is different to how its normally done.

Works for me. I use [ media ] Youtube Link [ /media ], with the spaces taken out.

I'm [i]fairly[/i] certain that the media tag is disabled for signatures. Try just linking it to some text or an image.

Having attempted to use the special code tool on the posting options I haven't managed to get the media file to work either. Without seeing the permissions for each group I can't confirm Wahrheit's answer. The best one to ask is Pika or Yankee.
