If you vote, don't just say the name of the artist, but add a few words about why you voted for him/her. And Lana Del Rey deserves it more IMO, even though The Prodigy made a few jam-worthy songs. Ne-Yo sings about f***ing girls, parties and drinking, just like any other conventional and generic pop singer. To call him a musician is in my mind a catastrophic error. Coldplay however sings about life as a whole. They follow no conventional pattern in their songs, they play their instruments better than anyone else out there right now and their songs are brilliant (ALL IN MY OPINION). Coldplay all the way. Not the greatest singers, but their strength are the performances (which is quite commendable in K-Pop where most people do the pretty-synchronized-robot stuff). Their lives slay bitches.
