Supertramp
2 new, quite simple cards I made today with (I hope) annoying recurrency effects. They should also work well in a "Skill Drain" Deck for example. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Pergias the Chain" or "Palingeos the Restart". When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Pergias the Chain" from your Deck. . "Pergias the Chain" + "Pergias the Chain" + "Pergias the Chain" Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards from your Graveyard into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) You can banish this card from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Pergias the Chain" from your hand or your Deck. Overpowered/Underpowered? Feedback is appreciated (:
sullyvanj93
easiest fusion summon ive ever seen o.O at 3600 attack, id say make it a bit harder than that. perhaps DONT make the card a fusion at all. Instead, make it a normal monster that cant be normal summoned or set. It can only be special summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 pergius the chains in your graveyard at one time. and then get rid of it's effect and let it just be a huge ATK monster. maybe make it immune to monster effects that it destroys or something instead, idk. but yeah, balance it a tad bit more id say
username51
I think the card design is pretty cool, but the Fusion Summoning conditions seem a bit off. Why not keep it as a regular Fusion Monster and create a Spell card which Fusion Summons it as you wanted (like Cyberdark Impact)? Cheers!
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
That one guy who posted prior to me has obviously not seen Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon before. It becomes easy to bring out once you actually get the first Pergias out. But Pergias itself isn't that easy to bring out, or at least it was before the new FIRE monsters happened. While it seems like a neat idea to have this, I really don't know if those new FIRE monsters should be able to get this. Pergias itself is ok, but coupled with the new FIRE monsters that can get it out very easily, Pergias is essentially an easy-to-bring-out wall at times that erupts into a 3600 beater for free if you try to knock it down enough times. Maybe if Pergias was unable to be Special Summoned, except by another Pergias or a Palingeos, it would make for a fun casual playstyle where you try to get Pergias out enough times to bring out Palingeos. But I really don't want to see this becoming meta.
Supertramp
Seems like I made some controversial cards, nice (: @sullyvanj Ok, but thats pretty much what I did not want. I didn't want another Boss monster that you need to focus on in a Deck. I wanted it to be more generic, just cards that you can use in totally different Decks. @username You mean something like Overload Fusion? That would be possible, I just don't know if there are enough FIRE Fusion monsters. @ Background Character Hmm.. I don't know those new FIRE monsters you're talking about. Indeed, the first Pergias should not be summoned too easily. I'll change this soon. Thanks to you 3.

username51
I mean like "Cyberdark Impact": you return the written monsters in the grave and fusion summon the card. Instead of it being an effect of the fusion, you make it a regular fusion with a spell card to do the job.
Supertramp
@ Gawayn Thanks^^ @username Oh, that one. I googled it but only found the Booster first. Not bad, but I'd rather have a more generic one that works for every FIRE Fusion Monster or something. Maybe I should do this because now I'm thinking too, that those are a little OP. Shinobi Phoenix
I think the card design is pretty cool, but the Fusion Summoning conditions seem a bit off. Why not keep it as a regular Fusion Monster and create a Spell card which Fusion Summons it as you wanted (like Cyberdark Impact)? Cheers!
I disagree entirely. Both cards are essentially Normal Monsters on field and their only real effects are yanking each other out of the Deck, which means they are just big slower Gadgets and the boss recycles them back in Deck to start over. Adding an extra magic card just weakens the whole thing and slows it down more for what is very much simple beatsticks. Synchros and Xyz are still more popular than Fusions and Rituals ever will be... because Fusion/Ritual cards are deck waster if that is all they do or the Fusion/Ritual in question isn't much worse the space needed for "the parts". Both cards are fine (albeit boring as all hell) if they don't get any changes to make them worse or slower. Faster or stronger would even be welcome, but if beatstick is all they are, don't change them other than any text clean up for mechanics and grammar. Please don't weaken them or slow them down. Sure, in conjunction with some other cards, they might be useful, but not what is presented here now.
Sleepy
Normal Summon Gale Dogra > Pay to drop Pergias the Restart from your Extra Deck > banish the Fusion and Special Summon Pergias the Chain from your Deck ^with that, now you can Tribute it, let your opponent destroy it, and you will keep having a 2400 ATK monster out. Enemy Controller comes to mind. Or you can pay 1500 Life Points with Star Blast and just Normal Summon the first Pergias the Chain and start the cycle. It'll eventually lead to a 3600 ATK monster that shuffles them back to the deck. Your opponent essentially needs to kill it 4 times, and even then it might come back... and that's without including all that new FIRE support that I haven't read. It's a tad overpowered in my opinion. It's one of those times when I think Burial from a Different Dimension + Transmigration Prophesy would be a decent minus if you haven't won by then. Supertramp
@ Shinobi Phoenix Ok, a Speel Card for the Fusion would indeed slow them down too much. And I know they are boring but that makes them even more annyoing for your opponent if he can't break through this wall. (: @ Sleepy You know far better how to use those cards than I do o_O Thanks btw, I always wanted to know if there is a card with an effect like Gale Dogra. With your ideas you could even do a respectable Deck focused on Pergias & Palingeos. So yeah, probably a little OP, maybe I'll reduce the ATK/DEF of Palingeos (and Pergias) a bit.
