username51
Hello everyone. I present to you: Stardust Dragon Girl! This card will make it easy to deal with an opponent's Stardust Dragon and also introduces a mechanic to ease the Synchro Summoning of Shooting Quasar Dragon!
Update 2.0:

1700 ATK -> 1200 ATK. Her stats now make it harder to keep her on the field.
"The summoned monster's ATK and DEF is halved": This greatly reduces OTKbility with Quasar.

1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters This card can be treated as a 1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuner monster when Synchro Summoning a Dragon-type monster; if you use this effect, the summoned monster's ATK and DEF is halved. Once per turn: This card is not destroyed by card effects. Once per turn: if "Stardust Dragon" is sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, you can Special Summon it.
So, what do you think? Is it useful and/or fun card to play with? Cheers!
Aix
Way too overpowered, this card brings out Shooting Quasar Dragon wayyyyyyyy too easily. Also, the effect to instantly return Stardust Dragon is OP'ed as well, and I would suggest making it so that you can Tribute this card during either player's turn to Summon a Stardust Dragon that was sent to the Graveyard for its own effect. Then, you get to Special Summon Stardust Girl during the End Phase.
username51
Thanks for the feedback! I don't think reviving Stardust is a big deal since your opponent probably wouldn't activate destruction cards with Stardust on the field anyway and 1700 ATK is nothing too difficult to run over if you really must. The real use I foresaw for this effect is to prevent your opponent from activating Stardust Dragon himself, since you could snatch it. I'm really favoring dropping her stats though. I'm thinking Quasar is pretty much the reason why anyone would play this. Quasar isn't too hard to play as it is; this only makes it more generally possible. Maybe it does make it too easy, I don't know. But I really like this effect idea. Could you give me a hint on how to nerf this / how these effects could be abused? Thanks again! Aix
The main problem is still the first effect. It makes summoning Shooting Quasar a piece of cake still... 2000 ATK is still very powerful when it can negate. All you need is stuff to protect it. And why is the card so huge? I can barely fit it on my screen.
username51
I see. But is it really worth it to commit all those resources for a 2000 ATK monster + negation? It still should take quite a few resources to get Quasar, its summoning can still easily be negated and 2000 isn't enough to beat high-level monsters. And the card is huge because I like detail. Seriously tho, is it not working? Cheers.
RoaringSilence0
You're about this close to being broken. I'll be honest, I don't really like the idea, but if it wasn't so overpowered, I might give it a shot.
username51
hahahah. Maybe I'm just thinking too much like Konami: [s]once we make our money[/s] if the card is abused too much, we ban it. I'm seriously not seeing it though. It's not like Quasar is hard to summon. I'm actually afraid people would prefer to Summon 1 more monster and make Formula (ending up with as many cards) and keep its 4000 ATK. How do you guys plan on abusing this? You should rather check this section for that: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/forum/19-graphic-showcase/ Also, never promote your stuff in someone else's thread (for future reference). OT: The card makes Quasar Summonable with the same resourses it takes to make a Scarred Nova. Even if it's Summoned with just 2000, it still can negate anything once per turn, and it still brings out a Shooting Quasar if it dies. Also, since you saved resourses, you might gather enough to just Summon another one soon. I think it needs a more effective drawback than that. Hmmmm... I thought about suggesting going the troll way and Summoning it face-down..... but it'd probably be too silly xD

That's at least 4 materials adding up to level 12. Now, what if you went for Hyper Librarian + Formula instead? Well, you'd need 6 materials, but you'd draw 3 cards. So you're arguably even in resources AND you have full ATK Quasar. So, I'm really afraid weakening it any further would make it sorta useless. Thank you very much for the input, Sleepy! Aix
Level 8 Synchro equals... Stardust dragon? Level 8 Synchro's are actually quite easy to bring out, though a deck that brings a Level 8 out isn't as good at bringing out Level 4 but still able to. username51
Yep, that's a good choice. And I agree, but as long as the deck isn't substantially faster than other Quasar Decks, I don't think there's a problem. I'm thinking this through, trying to find the right balance. DarkFenrir119
When I saw this card, I first thought, oh, synchro for this, use it for Stardust, bring it back and 2k Quasar... and realized that that's actually about as fast as most other Quasar runs with a repercussion of, oh, yeah, Quasar can't beat over. However, I agree with everyone else here on the fact that Quasar can still negate, and if it gets beat over, you just traded a 2k for a 3300 Shooting Star anyway. Sure, Quasar is readily stoppable, but most people that run it know to field-wipe first. Now, on to the other things I thought upon seeing this card: 1) I almost thought the effect would be something like "When this card is special summoned, send one "Stardust Dragon" from your extra deck to the graveyard: This card's name is "Stardust Dragon" as long as "Stardust Dragon" is in your graveyard." Or a similar "mimicry effect". I also thought that it could possibly be "This card can be used as 1 tuner and 1 non-tuner monster for the Synchro Summon of "Stardust Dragon"." 2) When I actually saw it's effect, I hadn't thought about the idea of Quasar with it until I read everyone else's posts. 3) It's not all that bad of a card. A little unbalanced, but not heavily, in my opinion.
