I'm not sure why you would ever be want to spend U on having a creature not being able to block creatures for a turn. You can get rid of that bit, so it is just becomes "CARDNAME can only be blocked by creatures with flying until end of turn." Makes much more sense.

I'll add a few more slots. I've figured out that Fungus should have 'when ~ dies' triggers, while White gets the 'when ~ ETB'. Good colour distinction. Blue should get a few creature cantrips.

It's quite unelegant, more than anything. You could cost this at 1R very easily. Also, I'd rather it use blaze counters for the sake of continuity in Magic (sounds slightly better, even though the real use of blaze counters is pretty different). But it would definitely have to be a rare. It couldn't be anything else. I really don't think the last clause is needed. It's just so detached.

I don't know if the part about tokens are needed on Genestealer considering tokens doesn't technically have a mana cost, and I have no idea how to word the last part of it either. I also love those cards, .Rai, it gives every Tribe a nice little "draw a card" card.

Well, Mycotox is really random :3 I like the idea of a Fungus win con, but it's really expensive. I don't think it needs to be legendary either. Really, your version is essentially really underpowered. You could push it tons. I propose this version:

Really like Genestealer Spore though. I'll fix the wording though (tokens have a CMC of 0, and are usually creatures so need for that clause). Should be rare, I think, and definitely should be upped, cost-wise, a little. Maybe to 2G.

@Aesirson: I think you can mod Cockatrice to add custom cards, but I'm not sure.

It's a work in progress, but some guys over at MtGSalvation are figuring out a way of simplifying playing with custom cards with a program. It's already possible, but it's extremely difficult and time-consuming (using Cockatrice).

There's probably only going to be 6 multicolour cards in the set (one of which is Tibalt). So most of these cards are competing for the same slots in the set :P

Thundering Cyclops is far too clunky in my opinion, put Miasma is fun. Pretty much every black effect can be turned into a Fungus effect. It's very cool. Quick OCG fixes:

It may up to somewhere between 7-10 cards, the last 1-4 being rares. Completely miscellaneous, like Innistrad's rares.

It would be too bold to introduce too much multicolour in this set. We still want monocolour freedom :3

We are doing this in an incredibly random order. If we are looking to do this set top-down, we have to come up with a list of Classical tropes (mainly Greek, but with Roman & occasionally Mesopotamian influences). We come up with the list, and designs are based off them. We then try to fit those designs into the design skeleton. Obviously, not all the tropes are going to be used. Arkhos has a very distinctive fantasy element that is separate from the Classical tropes, which is going to be integrated.

Sorry for the massive bump, but this is just an update so that people know that I've been working on this. I have a bunch of random designs and I'm encouraging others to help with design. For the moment, I'm essentially brainstorming on CGC with people:
